FEATURES The 2020 flow detector uses the well proven electromagnetic method of measurement, which applies Faraday s Law as the principle of operation. ABS tube and housing. High accuracy. Pit Mount Designed to be attached to a discharge headwall with the flowmeter ID similar to the discharge pipe, therefore producing no appreciable head loss. GENERAL APPLICATIONS The Irriflow uses the well proven electromagnetic method of measurement, which applies Faraday s Law as the principle of operation. This technique features a straight through section of pipe with no obstruction to restrict flow, and no moving parts to wear or break. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION The Emflux 2030 consists of two main components, the Detector (primary element) and the Transmitter (secondary). The Detector installs into a pipe and provides a linear, low level signal proportional to flow. The Transmitter mounts remotely from the detector. It accepts the low level signal from the detector and converts it into industry standard outputs, as well as displaying flowrate and total flow. To conserve power, the system periodically samples the flowrate. The reading and outputs are held until the next sample which is updated every 1 to 60 minutes (programmable). The reading may be manually updated by simply pressing a display button. This would typically occur when setting or adjusting flowrate. SYSTEM ACCURACY Better than ±2.5% over the flow range 0.5 ML/day 40 ML/day. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS The IR2030 series requires a minimum of five diameters, of straight pipe or 1 length between pits, upstream of the meter and a minimum 600 mm (23.6 in) of clear area at the downstream end. The meters must remain full for proper operation. 11 M500 FLOWMETER TRANSMITTER The M500 Electromagnetic Flowmeter has been developed to meet the demanding requirements for accurate metering of process and mining fluid supplies but is equally at home in other water supply applications including urban water (recycled water, distribution network and revenue monitoring), irrigation and environmental monitoring. FEATURES Uses the well proven electromagnetic method of measurement. No moving parts or restriction of flow during measurement. Enhanced diagnostic and alarm functions, completely configurable Removable SD card allowing upgrade of transmitter. Large multi-line backlit LCD display. User configurable logging interval for flow data and diagnostic tables. Optional 4-20mA output. User configurable digital frequency and pulse outputs. Full serial Modbus multidrop support. 3x expansion slots allowing additional IO. Serial support for modems, RTUs and PLCs. Ability to calibrate and operate flow tubes up to 1000mm in diameter. Capacitance style keypad with no moving parts. Cable entry via IP68 rated glands Designed for outdoor environments. GENERAL APPLICATIONS Electromagnetic flowmeters for the accurate flow measurement of any conductive fluid. Ideally suited to water and waste water treatment plants, mining and general industry. TECHNICAL DATA Display: 128 x 64 pixel monochrome graphic type with LED backlighting. Backlight can be enabled or disabled, includes auto-off mode when enabled and after 30 seconds of keypad inactivity. Configuration: Four button capacitive touch with adjacent key suppression, self-calibrating, with wake function and press or hold discrimination. Two-level menu hierarchy: menu and submenu with numerical index to each menu item for ease of cross referencing. Programmable meter codes are configurable. Access remotely via Magmate utility or via the onboard USB port. 13 i500 FLOWMETER TRANSMITTER The i500 Electromagnetic Flowmeter is a no compromises, high accuracy, high capability, bullet-proof water and wastewater measurement device. It complies with the new Australian Standard AS/NZS 4747: Meters for Non-Urban Water Supply. It is a fully pattern approved instrument from DN50 to DN600. The meter will meet the demanding requirements for accurate metering of irrigation supplies but is equally at home in other water supply applications including urban water (recycled water, distribution network and revenue monitoring), mining and environmental monitoring. MORE THAN JUST METERING The i500 flowmeter transmitter is more than just a transmitter. It is a remote communication, control and analytics hub. It can be an integral part of your flowmeter data capture, data storage and day to day network operations. The increased capabilities of the i500 will help you to minimise capital cost when building an irrigation network and can save you time and maintenance costs across the lifetime of the scheme operation.
