3 Abbreviations ATB RF ATBServer UART ID : Araç Takip Birimi (Vehicle Tracking Unit) : Radio Frequency. : It is the management interface of ATB devices that is used for sending commands to the ATB device and evaluating then processing the received data from the ATB device. : Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter : Identification Data. 1. Introduction The system provides the communication between the tow truck and trailer. It is an add-on to the vehicle tracking system and consists of two types of device defined below: - Slave Device (): It is the battery powered slave device that is transmitting RF signals periodically. - Master Device: It is the integrated device with ATB system that is responsible for the reception of RF signals from slave device(). The trailer tracking system provides the monitoring of the changes with the ATB system on the tow truck. For example; Temperature change in the trailer, Opening or closing the door of the trailer, to watch the movements with ATB system on the attractive. 8 Functional Specifications - It monitors the changes in the data collected from the temperature sensor and digital inputs. It transmits only the changes to the master device in the custom message format via RF. - Each is identified with a 4 byte ID number uniquely. - It is in sleep mode on startup. The wake-up time interval is 1 second. - It controls the input data every second.
