Assembly the PCB s on the bottom panel Mounting the trasnformer PCB: countersunk bold 4 x M3 x 20 mm 4 x nuts M3 8 x distance holders 3mm 2 pcs. for each screw between the two distance holder the plastic isolation Attention: Because of the high voltage the additional isolation is absolutely required. 11 4 x plastic rings 4 mm 4 x nuts M4 4 x feather rings 4 mm 6 x countersunk bold M3 x 20 mm 6 x distance holder with M3 thread 1. Put the 6 screws M3 into the acrylic bottom and add the acrylic distance holder. (see pic) 2. Then lay the unit of the 3 acrylic parts on the bottom panel so that you can push the the srews from the outer side of the bottom panel through the wholes. This is so, that you can change the position of the CD-Pro after everything is assembled. Page:11 of 25

13 Assembly of the display PCB into the front frame: 1. assemble the display PCB on the display holder 4 x screws M3 x 6 mm 12 x brass wafer 4 x distance holder with M3 thread 4 x set screw M3 Put the screws from the inner side of the frame through the wholes. Then lay 2 wafers on the screw and fit the distance holder. Fit 1 set screw and puit one wafer on it. 2. Next lay the push buttons into the wholes 3. Glue the display and IR window with universal adhesive (Pattex or Uhu clear) into the wholes. 4. Connect the wires to the display, keys and the open/close switch. Page:13 of 25

14 5. Fit the display PCB on the display holder. There are two different versions of the display holder. One version have 2 additional square tubes for a solid fitting and the other have a metal profile. The differences you have only in assembly the holder to the front frame or in fitting the display PCB. In any case it is important that display PCB lays without space on the front frame. Only in that case the push buttons work correct. But you will see or feel it when you fit the PCB to the front. Depending on the version you have different scrwes for fitting the complete unit to the front frame. screw 8 x M3 x 20 mm 8 x distance holder 5mm 8 x nuts M3 2 x square tubes for better stability ore one profile instead 6. After preparing the display holder assemble the unit to the front frame Attention: There must be enough space for the cables. Page:14 of 25

16 7. Preparing the cables connecting the AC main connector with switch Attention: Because of the high voltage the additional isolation is absolutely required. Be aware of high voltages. Risk of fatal injury from high voltage! Best is to isolate this connector after fitting the wires. Page:16 of 25

17 Attention: Because of the high voltage the connection of GND to the bottom panel is absolutely required. Interconnecting the secondary side of the transformer It is really important to drill the wires here you see how to make the connector: Page:17 of 25

19 input from transformer output to the power supply best results and easiest way to make the coil is to undrill the wire before making the loops. Page:19 of 25

20 Next step is connecting the wires to the power supply of the CD-Pro and the jitter-killer. The ferrite rings you see in the front are for the 5 and 9 Volt for the CD-Pro2 and in background for the jitter-killer. Connecting the output voltages for the CD-Pro the connector of the output voltage of the jitter-killer is already assembled. Page:20 of 25

Interconnections of the CD-Pro2 Soldering of the small JST connectors 1 x 6 pin DSA / communication to the controller 1 x 6 pin for I2S 1 x 2 pin for digital out For the Voltages 9 and 5 Volt make also drilled cables with ferrite rings as shown in the picture above with for windings.
