2 Magnetic Rotary Encoder Work Principle: Magnetic rotary encoder, using magnetic field distribution on the circumference, through the magnetic detection device detecting electrical signal, after digital signal processing to produce the encoder required signal. Product performance: 1. Environmental adaptability, impact resistance, resistance to vibration, protection class up to IP68, can work in the field or dust, oil, vibration and other harsh environments. 2. Resolution can be any size, up to 65536PPR 3. Simple structure, excellent performance, small size. 4. to support SSI, MODBUS, CANopen and PROFIBUS and other communication protocols. Application scope: Printing machinery, CNC machine, glass machinery, textile machinery, automation equipment, knitting machines, test machines, girder locomotives, satellite system, port machine and so on. Incremental Magnetic Rotary Encoder Incremental rotary encoder can continuously produce a series of pulses corresponding to the angle change when it rotates. With external circuit and counter, rotation direction discrimination and the pulse count can be achieved. Absolute Magnetic Rotary Encoder Absolute magnetic encoder through the exclusive output digital code to represent absolute position, angle, or rotation information. It has single-turn absolute type (including turret-type) and multi-turn absolute type. Bus Type Magnetic Rotary Encoder Bus encoder is that many encoders connected together by a pair of signal lines. Tthrough setting the address, with the communication signal transmission, multiple encoder signals can be read by the signal receiving device with one interface. It can save the bus cable, the receiving device interfaces and transmission equipment. It support for CANopen, MODBUS and PROFIBUS and other agreements. Incremental type Absolute type Bus type

BUS TYPE ENCODER 1.CANopen encoder CANopen is a kind of CAN based open, standardized application layer protocols, not only defines the application layer and communication sub-agreements, but also defines a large number of guild regulations for programmable systems, different device, interface, application sub-protocol, follow these guild regulations CANopen devices will be able to achieve interoperability between different companies products. CiA DSP-406 specification is for each manufacturers encoder products, and defines the standard for the additional features.maga series encoders comply with DSP-406 device specification. ⑴ technical parameter ⑵wiring table 2.MODBUS encoder MODBUS encoder with the supporting software can automatic detect and set the baud rate, allocate the site address, and choose the encoder count direction. ⑴ communication agreement:using MODBUS RTU communication agreement. 8 data bits, no parity verification, 1 stop bit. Structure of information frame ⑵address code The master device uses the address of the device to be connectted into the message frame address field to select the the sub device. When sub device sent back response message, it put its address into the responsed address field of information frames to allow the master device to know which one make the response. Address code in the range of ⑶function code When a message is sent from the master device to the sub device, the function code field tells the sub device what action to be performed. When the sub device response, it use the function code to indicate normal or abnormal response (highest response function code 1). MAGA series encoder currently only supports function code 03.

8 code meaning operation 03 Read data Returns the current value of the encoder ⑷ Data area:the information data field sent from the master device to sub device contains the additional information that need encoder to perform actions. If no error occurs, the data returns from the device field contains the data requested by the master device. If an error occurs, this field contains the object code. ⑸ error correction code:error correction use cyclic redundancy correction method, host or encoder can use correction code to judge received information whether right or not. When data transfer,crc value low in front, high in back.g(x)=x*16+x*12+x*5+1.
