2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING! DISCONNECT BATTERIES BEFORE SERVICING. DISCHARGE STATIC ELECTRICITY PRIOR TO HANDLING CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY. START DISASSEMBLY 1 Drain the recovery tank. 2 See Figure 1. Remove the top two mounting Bolts (A) from the Handle Assembly (B). Loosen the bottom two Bolts (C) and tilt the Handle Assembly (B) back. 3 Remove the rear mounting Bolts (D) from the Control Panel Assembly. 4 Tilt the recovery tank to the side and remove the front two mounting bolts from the control panel assembly. 3 DISCONNECT CONTROL PANEL FROM MACHINE 5 Tilt the control panel assembly back away from the machine to access the backside of the control panel. NOTE: Be careful to not pinch or crimp the pvc pressure sensing tube on SC750 & SC800 models. This can be verifi ed after reassembly by draining and refi lling the solution tank and confi rming the display reads correctly. 6 See Figure 2 (ST Models). Disconnect all wires from the Key Switch (A). Disconnect Ground Wire (C). Disconnect the Wire Harness Connectors (D) from the circuit board. Remove the Circuit Board Mounting Screws (E). NOTE: Make note of wire color location on the key switch prior to disconnecting. FIGURE 2 SC750 ST & SC800 ST Models A C E D 7 See Figure 3 and 4 (SC750, SC800 Models). See Figure 3. Remove the large pressure sensing tube (A) from the solution tank via the solution fi ll opening and make sure all water drains out of the tube. See Figure 4. Disconnect all wires from the Key Switch (A). Disconnect Ground Wire (C). Disconnect the Wire Harness Connectors (D) from the circuit board. Cut the Pressure Sensing Tube (F) to disconnect it from the pcb board. Remove the Circuit Board Mounting Screws (E). NOTE: Make note of wire color location on the key switch prior to disconnecting. 4 REMOVE CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY 8 See Figure 5. Remove the (5) Screws (A) from the Control Panel Assembly (B) and remove the panel assembly from the machine. FIGURE 5 INSTALL NEW CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY 9 Follow steps 2 through 8 in reverse order to install the new Control Panel Assembly. IMPORTANT NOTE!: During installation it is critical that you reinsert the large pressure sensing tube back into the solution tank after connecting the small pressure sensing tube to the pcb board. 10 Reconnect the batteries and follow the programming instructions on the following page Nilfi sk, Inc. 5 Hidden Menu Functionality (SC750, SC800) To select the proper scrub deck, machine platform and low voltage cut out perform the following steps: 1 Turn the main power key switch to the OFF position. (If optional on-board battery charger is installed, it must be unplugged from AC power). NOTE: The fi rst time the PCB is turned on it will automatically go to the Deck Type menu. 2 Press and hold the scrub ON/OFF switch and vacuum switch together. 3 While holding both switches, turn the main key switch to the ON position. 4 Continue to hold both switches for 3 seconds until all (5) solution and scrub indicator LED s turn on. 5 Release both switches. The display will now show Programming Options. 6 To scroll through the menu use the solution UP or DOWN buttons. 7 To enter a sub menu press the solution switch. 8 To save and go back to the main menu press scrub ON/OFF switch. 9 To exit from Hidden Menu completely, cycle the key switch. 6 Hidden Menu Functionality (SC750 ST, SC800 ST) To select the proper scrub deck and low voltage cut out perform the following steps: 1 Turn the main power key switch to the OFF position. (If optional on-board battery charger is installed, it must be unplugged from AC power.) NOTE: The fi rst time the PCB is turned on it will automatically go to the Deck Type menu and then automatically goes to Charger Selection. 2 Press and hold the appropriate combination of switches for the hidden menu you wish to enter. (See Table below). 3 While holding the switches, turn the main key switch to the ON position. 4 Continue to hold the switches for 3 seconds until the appropriate indicator LED s turn on. 5 Release the switches. 6 To change a setting, press the solution switch up or down. The Fault Code Indicator will blink at the same rate as the fault code display to show what the current setting is. 7 Press the scrub switch to the up position to save the settings and then turn on all LED s. The program should wait for the operator to turn off the key switch and all buttons should be disabled. Note: For the following table, switch position Up refers to the rocker switch being pressed to the up (ON or increment) position while Down refers to the switch being pressed to the down (OFF or decrement) position. Otherwise the switch is left in its default center position.
