5 General cabling guidelines The method of cabling is key to the successful operation of the system. The Voice system is compliant with E directives concerning electromagnetic compatibility, however to improve noise immunity do not lay system cables near to high voltage cables that generate strong electromagnetic fields. Add one AT5 cable between the entry panel and the power supply/equipment position (max 00M) for the proximity reader. I have two entry panels. How are they cabled? The second entry panel cables back to the central equipment position using the same specifications as the first entry panel. Up to a maximum of four panels can be cabled in this way. an the riser be split? Yes. You can have many risers. Use a 08/50 to split the riser. How do I cable an Urmet extension sounder within an apartment? Two cores from the monitor or handset to the extension sounder My system is more complicated and is not covered by the information in this guide. an you provide a site specific cable schematic? Yes. Please provide a basic sketch of the site with all relevant distances included.
