Requires a 30V Mains connection. Cable types: Revision Catagy 5 5e unshielded cable containing 8 ces. Cables are /5e unshielded unless otherwise stated..0mm.0mm Cross sectional area mains cable, Flex Twin and Earth. Maximum of 300m cable distance between the furthest points and a maximum of Km of cable connected to any one point. ll control equipment must located in protected indo environments enclosures. The minimum amount of cable has been indicated, please allow f spares. Maglocks Highly inductive locking devices must be fitted with suitable transient voltage suppression Do not use alarm cable. Do not set the D8Z flat addresses accding to the Digibell VR guide, follow below instead. Contact technical suppt if the flat numbers are not sequential, if there are duplicate numbers, above 40 contain a letter. locks/ces (using SD8 SD7 controller) To configure the addressing f the crect flat numbers: D8Z Isolat Settings f each block / ce: st D8Z / 8 flats in a block/ce, rotary switch SW6=, DIPswitch SW7 all off nd D8Z / 8 flats in a block/ce, rotary switch SW6=3, DIPswitch SW7 all off Remember to disable unused phone connections to avoid units having the same addresses (refer to the Digibell VR guide). SSW Switcher / Isolat Settings f each block / ce (refer to the SSW manual PD0): Rotary switch SW and DIPswitch SW3 should be set so that: SW/3 offset value = (ctual flat number entered at the gate f st flat in the block) e.g. If lock has flat numbers 3 to 8 (6 flats) SW/3 subtraction value = 3 = Set SW to position 6 (0) Set SW3 to,,3 OFF and 4 ON () Call button wiring: The st 8 flats in the block must use call inputs (st flat) to 8 (8th flat) on the SD8/7 Do controller in that block. The nd 8 flats in the block must use call inputs 9 to 6. Entrance settings: Settings f each block entrance such as ring time, call time, unlock duration, lock type are all set by 3 rows of DIPswitches on the associated SD8/7 Do controller (refer to the bellissimo manual). s Settings f each gate such as ring time, call time, unlock duration, lock type are all set through the associated gate entrance panel, refer to the Digibell VR guide. Speech Levels Levels are adjusted at each entrance panel. Screwdriver adjustment, f each direction, may be required at the rear of the speech grill. Page 7 of 3
