The static transfer switch (STS) is an electrical device that alllows instantaneous transfer of power sources to the load. this supirior switching time means that if one power source fails the STS switches to the back-up power source so quickly that the load never recognizes the transfer made. Fast-acting STS are increasingly being applied to protect largeloads and entire facilities from short-duration power distubances. These products use solid-state power electronics or static switching. This is a switching tapology where the PWM is made directly in AC-to-DC switching, without any harmonic distortion. The power stage is IGBT chopper control. The chopping frequency is around 40KHz which ensures absolutley silent operation and pure sine wave output. 17 RACK PARAMETER MONITERING Rack Parameter Monitering We offer monitering of critical parameters such as smoke, vandalism, temperature, humidity, power, & voltage By means of specific sensors by PCTL automation a wide range of different parameters is monitored in the server racks. The identified measured values are captured centrally and evaluated. When limit values are exeeded, they can trigger alarms, switch on fans or air-conditioning units or effect emergency opening of the rack doors. In combination with the software control cockpit the data provide a basis for increasing the energy effiency of data centres. 18 RACK ACCESSORIES 1U COOLING FAN Functions DT-01: with 2 fans DT-01: with 4 fans This unit is mainly used for temperature and highest temperature limit alarm in the cabinets, which has the characteristics of high reliability, simply to use, easily to operate. Meanwhile, it also can show the values of current Voltage, Ampere, Temperature and Humidity. Operating environment: -5 ~60 C (Non-condensation) Relative humidity: 20%~85% The main technical parameters: Voltage: 220V or 110V; Measuring range: 0 ~50 C; Control the range: 0 C~50 C; Measurement and control precision: 1 C; Connecting: 1. Connect the temperature sensor onto the sensor terminals; 2.Plug the power cord of the unit onto the power supply. (The power cord can be chosen for the different countries.)
