Memory unction: If power goes O, irrespective of whether the R Switch was O or O, it will always restart in the O mode when power returns. a) If you want the R Touch Switch to return to its last state (either O/O) then first cut off power to the Switch and press the Switch button. 4 i on R WIREESS SYSTEMS i-touch Universal Switch (2M) The i-touch Universal Switch can be used in combination with any Goldmedal R device (R Touch/ i-touch/i-eel Switches, an Regulators, Dimmers, etc.) to function as a wireless two-way or three-way switch in both commercial and residential premises. Because it is a wireless connection, the i-touch Universal Switch works as a single-button, fixed remote. The device can also be used to activate Scenes or the All O or All O command. Enabling various operations using the Universal Switch Two-Way or Three-Way function In case you want to control a Goldmedal R device with Universal Switch, you need to first pair the R device with the Universal Switch in the following manner: Two way function - 1. Press the respective button on the R device for 6 seconds until it enters pairing mode with its ED blinking. 2. Then press the button on the Universal Switch (A). The R device responds with a beep to indicate successful pairing. The R device can be operated with this Universal Switch. Three way function - If you want to operate a Goldmedal R device with two Universal Switches (3-way function), first pair the R device with the first Universal Switch (A) as shown above. Then do the following: 3. Press the button on the second Universal Switch (B) for 6 seconds until it enters pairing mode with its ED blinking. 4. ow press the button on the first Universal Switch (A). The R device now can be operated by 2 universal switches (A & B). The Goldmedal R device can be operated with both the Universal Switch. Any light, fan or electrical appliance that is controlled by a Goldmedal R Switch can now also be operated by using the Universal Switches. Then press the same number that was assigned to the R Device on this R Remote. To control the intensity of the light, first press Up/Down ( / ) on the Remote as per your requirement. Then press and hold the assigned number on the Remote till the desired intensity of the light is achieved. If you want the i-touch dimmer (103248) to return to the last state (either O or O) every time power returns after a power failure, do the following: ong press the down arrow key on the dimmer for around 20 seconds till you hear the 3rd beep sound (Please ignore the first 2 beeps) Setting ower imit: The Goldmedal i-touch Dimmer enables you to dim your ED light down to 10V. But because not all ED lights behave similarly, some ED lights may start flickering before the voltage reaches 10V (for example at 60V). This threshold level varies across different ED lights. To ensure that your ED lights do not flicker when dimmed, the Goldmedal i-touch Dimmer allows you to define the minimum threshold voltage for your ED lights. To do this, first set the ED light at the lowest dimmable level that you want. Then touch the down arrow on the i-touch Dimmer 5 times, continuously. That's it. Your ED lights will not go below this level and it will therefore not flicker. If you wish to reset this level, simply touch the up arrow on the i-touch Dimmer 5 times, continuously. This cancels the earlier set limit.
