13 FIWARE Lab Federated OpenStack Regions FIWARE Lab is hosted FIWARE Platform which provides development environment to developers Innovation and experiment based on FIWARE Technologies possible using this free sandbox environment FIWARE Lab is distributed and arranged geographically on the network of synchronizing FIWARE Lab Node. The IaaS base of FIWARE Lab is OpenStack. Entrepreneur and individual (but not limited to) can test FIWARE Technologies and applications on FIWARE Lab, and can use the open data published by city and other organizations. 15 NEC s Contribution NEC is the first Japanese company to join FIWARE Foundation as a platinum member. 15 NEC participates as board of directors and technical steering committee of FIWARE Foundation and contributes to development, standardization and promotion of FIWARE technology to accelerate smart industry businesses.
