12 EuroNanoLab EuroNanoLab is an initiative to establish a large scale distributed nanofabrication research infrastructure. Enhance excellence by building superior processing competence. Accelerate Research by process exchange and single-access point to nanofabrication RI and expertise. Share competences by defining European standards in cleanroom procedures. Strengthening cooperation by building an alliance between scientist and nanofabrication experts.

20 Horizon Europe (FP9, > 2020) Supporting Quantum Technologies beyond H2020 Quantum Support Action (QSA) Version 1.1, 7 May July :38 Tommaso has just received news from the the raporteurs for FP9 that our suggested amendments regarding quantum technologies will be included in their reports. This means that they will be officially suggested by the European Parliament to the European Commission and are very likely to make it into the final legal documents. The most important changes are: Continuation of existing Flagships with a dedicated budget of at least EUR Establishment of QT as a Key Enabling Technology

21 Horizon Europe Required Infrastructure Quantum-ready advanced fabrication facilities: prototyping and production of scalable devices for various QT applications, ranging from quantum processor chips, to key laser components, to chips for neutral atom based sensors. A Quantum Communication infrastructure: large-scale testbed for quantum communication and related technologies; access to industry for a wide range of application development, e.g. in health, finance and critical infrastructure. A Quantum Computing/Simulation infrastructure: maintenance, operation and access management of quantum computers/simulators hard- and software, and remote access for users, combined with access to classical High Performance Computing. = OpenSuperQ!! A Time and Frequency Transfer (TFT) infrastructure: to deliver high-precision timing for scientific and commercial use. Particularly, transportation, traffic, communication, energy distribution, safety and security rely on exact time and frequency information. A European open-access Sensing and Metrology infrastructure: to develop, calibrate, test, validate and certify large- and small-scale quantum sensors and to develop and make accessible compact and easy-to-use quantum measurement standards of the revised SI units.
