4 ACE CURRENT About Us Consists of two divisions that are specialized in electromechanical and electrical projects. ACECO has been operating since 1974 and is registered with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce under serial number 740. 6 Technical Staff ACECO consists of more than 450 employees including electrical, civil and mechanical engineers, foremen, supervisors, AC technicians, electricians/linemen, surveyors, pipe fitters, masons, painters, carpenters, plumbers and helpers. 25 Electromechanical Division We provide air conditioning installation (all types), maintenance (for related work) and low voltage power lighting installation and maintenance work. Within this division we have three technical departments: HVAC Department Electrical Department Maintenance Department (Mr B Lobo Project Manager) (Mr M Hameed Project Manager) (Mr K Unnikrishnan Head of Maintenance) Plus a dedicated administrative support team that cover all the usual administration functions. Our quality department ensures that twice yearly internal audits are conducted and that we keep up to date with external audits which are conducted for us by BVQI. Our aim is to ensure the provision of a good service and our customer s feedback is regularly sought to ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained. 27 Electrical Division Our core business is the supply, installation testing and commissioning of underground power cables up to 132kV, overhead transmission lines, substations, switchgears and other distribution equipment. Since our inception is 1974 more than250 projects were executed across the country. 41 Cold Storage We install cold rooms for chiller and freezer applications and the portfolio includes walk-in commercial cold rooms, warehouse cold storages, portable skid mounted cold rooms, off shore refrigerated containers and refrigerated vehicle bodies which can be manufactured as per customer specified sizes. Depending on the size and use of the cold room, cold rooms can be broadly classified as walk-in cold rooms and warehouse cold stores. Walk-in cold rooms are smaller in size compared to the large warehouse cold stores and are used primarily by the retail industry to store goods with fast shelf replenishment rate. Due to the small size of the rooms, the insulated floors are built strong enough only to allow the use of hand carts and not suitable for large power equipments such as forklifts. A few uses of walk-in cold rooms are in the super markets, hotels, restaurants etc. 41
