17 How does it work? panels have a copper pad on the front of the panel. Special patch cords with a 9 th wire The patch panels are connected to the analyzer The Analyzer scans each port to see if something is connected or not This information is then relayed to the IIMS server loaded with the itracs software If a connection is required, the Analyzer will tell you where. If you should not be connected, it will let you know 17
