2 TADS Purpose The purpose ofthe Transmission Availability Data System Working Group (TADSWG) is to implement a uniform approach to reporting and measuring transmission availability, performance and other related reliability data. To meet this purpose, the TADSWG works on five key subjects: 1. Definition of transmission availability data that Transmission Owners (TOs) report to NERC 2. Single process for collecting such data dt that t avoids duplication of effort 3. Quality control process, data reviews and analysis to ensure metric numeric accuracy 4. Transmission availability and performance metrics that are calculated from the reported data 5. TO analysis and expertise to support the Performance Analysis Subcommittee (PAS) 2 RELIABILITY ACCOUNTABILITY
