7 Surface Temperature Sensing The UTS1000 thermocouple sensors were designed to complement air velocity testing with measurement and correlation to surface temperatures. Real-time air velocity effects on surface temperature studies are critical in proper evaluation of heatsink, cold plate, heat exchanger, and enclosure designs. The UTS1000 sensor can easily reach hard-to-access locations without disrupting airflow profiles. Measuring relative humidity and ambient temperatures simultaneously, the UHS1000 Series offers accuracy of 1.9% RH from 10 to 90% RH.
