4 Abu Dhabi Ports Established in 2006 by an Abu Dhabi Government Emiri Decree to: Own, develop, manage, operate and maintain all port related facilities in Abu Dhabi (excluding Oil & Gas and military ones) Develop, manage and operate related industrial zones in Abu Dhabi

5 The Need for a Port Community System The required transactions to move cargo in and out of the emirate depends on several systems through different entities, which inherently slows down the process. Relevant authorities need a system that can support higher level of security and decrease risks through increased transparency. Abu Dhabi Ports customers demand high levels of predictability, and visibility for their trade transactions. All parties representing the port community must be interlinked in an intelligent, streamlined system to share information instantly. They need a system that can talk the international standardized language of trade. Shipping lines, shipping agents, customs agents, importers, exporters, terminal operators need a single point-of-access and real-time information across a wide range of Ports services. They prefer to move their cargo through ports that can ensure efficient operations.

7 Maqta Gateway Inception Maqta Gateway PCS project was launched by Abu Dhabi Ports in Dec 16, 2014 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council

23 Khalifa Port Expansion Signing a contract with the National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC). Scheduled for completion in mid New 1000 metres of Quay Wall Deeper main channel and basin to 18 metres. Additional 600,000 sqm for cargo handling.
