5 The Challenge Companies generate and integrate data at all phases of the Well lifecycle Internal, Partner, Commercial, Public This data exists at different levels of the Well Component (WIAW) hierarchy depending upon the source and the intended use: Well Origin, Wellbore, Wellbore Segment or Completion Different business units within a company operate at different levels of the Well hierarchy EnergyIQ was involved in several projects to: Define an approach for identifying and relating Well Components Present the data in the way that the business expects to use it 5
