Alacra offer three Reference Data Services:. Alacra Authority File (AAF) and Alacra Authority Plus File (AAF+): A daily file of all the rated, regulated and listed entities globally, as well as all entities with other important industry identifiers (e.g. LEI, GIINs). Alacra Authority File RATED LISTED REGULATED LEI GIIN Legal Entity Directory Concordance. Legal Entity Directory: A daily file containing the complete cross-mapping and de-duping of multiple major data vendors such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Markit and the rating agencies.. Concordance: Concordance is a service where Alacra will de-dupe and cross-reference your universe of legal entities. You provide us a file of your universe which may come from one or more internal data silos. We then match these entities across all the third-party vendor databases to which you are licensed.

3 What is the Alacra Authority File? The Alacra Authority File (AAF) is the most comprehensive source of legal entity reference data for your most common customers and counterparties. The AAF is a set of global legal entities, each of which meets one or more of these three criteria: The entity has a security listed on a global exchange, or The entity is rated by either Moody s, S&P, Fitch or A.M. Best, or The entity is regulated by one of the G- and European Union banking regulators What attributes are included in the Alacra Authority File? Alacra researches and provides information on the following attributes: Legal,, of Registration, Phone Number, Industry classifications including SIC, NAICS and Alacra proprietary categories Entity type Ultimate parent Whether the entity has any listed securities, and the name of each exchange and ticker Whether the entity is rated by one of the major rating agencies, and the name of the agency Whether the entity is regulated by a G- and European Union regulator and the name of that regulator All of these data attributes are available without any third-party data license. What are the benefits and uses of the Alacra Authority File? The AAF tracks the global universe of listed, rated and regulated entities. These entities can be considered to be lower risk for compliance and KYC purposes as a globally respected authority is supervising them in an oversight capacity. In the Compliance arena, the AAF can be used at the beginning of the on-boarding process to determine the regulatory and listing status of entities to be on-boarded. The AAF is often used for transaction reporting or Basel reporting because the regulator identifiers and rating agency issuer identifiers have all been aligned and mapped to each entity. As the AAF covers listed, rated and regulated entities, it is a comprehensive source of legal entity reference data for your most common customers and counterparties. It is a great way to establish a clean set of reference data for most of the entities with which a major bank does business.

4 How many entities are in the Alacra Authority File? Currently there are about, listed, rated and regulated entities in the AAF file. How does Alacra keep the Authority File accurate and up-to-date? Alacra acquires entity-specific information from many global sources. We subscribe to exchange feeds, ratings agency feeds, and regulatory feeds. We also monitor and access data from many websites. How can I access the Alacra Authority File? Subscribers to the AAF receive an initial file containing all the information for which they are licensed. Subscribers can then receive a daily update/change file, or can receive a full file refresh each day. What is the Alacra Authority Plus file? As an enhancement to the AAF file, Alacra also provides information on other important industry identifiers that do not otherwise meet the criteria for inclusion in the AAF (i.e. they are not otherwise rated, regulated or listed). This file is called the Alacra Authority Plus File (AAF+). Currently these include the: LEIs: Legal Entity identifiers issued by LOUs (Local Operating Units) under the auspices of the Global LEI Foundation (GLEIF). FACTA GIINs: The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act Global Intermediary Identification Number issued by the US IRS. These identifiers are available without any third-party data license. The AAF+ can also provide cross-reference links to any third-party content provider with whom you have a current data license. For example, it is possible to have the Moody s, S&P, and Fitch issuer IDs and ratings included in your version of the AAF+ if you are a verified subscriber to those databases. How many entities are in the Alacra Authority Plus file? On the top of the, entities in the AAF, the addition of unique entities with LEIs and GIINs adds an additional, entities, taking the AAF+ to around, entities. What is the Alacra Legal Entity Directory? The Alacra Legal Entity Directory (LED) is the complete cross-mapping and de-duping of multiple major data vendors. You need to be licensed with the appropriate data vendor to receive any proprietary information. While you need to obtain and maintain the license, Alacra will work with you and the data vendor to verify that a current license is in place.

The LED covers a very large universe of legal entities. This is a clean, deduped and cross-referenced data source to help your data group clean up and leverage your existing data sources. Where you prefer not to, or in jurisdictions where you cannot, share your specific universe with any third-party, the Alacra LED allows you to access clean, de-duped and cross-referenced data without any of your data leaving the organization. What is Alacra s Concordance Service? Concordance is a service where Alacra will de-dupe and cross-reference your universe of legal entities. Alacra uses a combination of software algorithm, years of business rules and a research team to manage the process. You provide us with a file of entities which may come from one or more of your internal data silos. Alacra can match these entities across all the thirdparty vendor databases to which you are licensed.
