9 PA Referral Worklist Display Options You can choose the column headings to display on your Worklist and sort your Worklist by specified fields. You can also choose to display only the Incomplete Worklist tasks or all the tasks. These display options remain even when you log out. To change Worklist display options 1. Click the Display Options button from your Worklist to display the Worklist Column Display form (Figure 1). Figure 1: SmarTrack Worklist Column Display form 2. From the Worklist Columns grid, select the columns to display on your Worklist by marking the checkbox next to the desired column names. The Patient, Status, and Next Review headings are always marked, but are grayed-out; they cannot be removed from the Worklist display. Under certain circumstances, data may not appear under a column heading, even if data is stored in the field. To help you differentiate fields in different modules that have similar names, the fields listed in the Worklist Columns grid are assigned a two- or three-letter prefix that indicates which module the field is in. If there is no prefix, the field is an encounter field. The Risk-related prefix meanings are listed in the following table.

Change the order of the columns selected for display by moving the selected column heading up or down in the list by clicking the arrow pointed in the direction you want. The Patient column cannot be moved from the first column position. As the columns are made visible and moved, the results are reflected in the Preview grid at the bottom of the Worklist Column Display form. 4. Set column widths by dragging the right side of the column in the Preview grid. The widths of the columns can be temporarily adjusted on the main Worklist form, but they revert to the settings in the Worklist Column Display form once the Worklist is closed. 5. In the Sort By field, select a field by which to sort the Worklist. You can sort by up to three fields, and specify each to be sorted in either ascending or descending order. If you make no selection in the Sort By field, the Then By sorting selection fields are not available. After you select a field in the Sort By field, the first Then By field becomes available. Likewise, after you make a selection the first Then By field, the second Then By field becomes available. You can sort the Worklist by fields that you have not selected for display. Note: Sorting a Worklist by a field that contains different values in different episodes of the same encounter causes that encounter to appear more than once on the Worklist. 6. Select the Incomplete Only checkbox on the SmarTrack Worklist Column Display form. Clearing the checkbox on the Worklist does not affect the setting on this SmarTrack Worklist Column Display form. When you chose a preferred setting in the SmarTrack Worklist Column Display form, it overrides the setting that was made on the Worklist. 7. To clear the manual settings and redisplay the default settings, click the Default Settings button. Tables to Monitor & Appear More Than Once If you load cases from more than one rule at a time, some columns may not display data. This can happen if the Rules do not include the same table to Monitor. Only the entries associated with the table being monitored by the rule appear on the activity line in the Worklist. For example, if a Rule is monitoring the Encounters when the field chosen for display is CR-Reason, nothing displays in that field, even if it exists in the Concurrent Review episode, because the PA Referral Reason field is from the Concurrent Review episode level, not the Encounter level. Whether the activity line displays complete data, partial data, or none at all depends on the Worklist rule that created the Worklist entry and the conditions specified in the rule. In addition, if the Appear
