2 Introduction This Quick Reference Guide will give you an overview of the MIPS platform, help you to view your MIPS participation eligibility, and get MIPS ready. We will begin this document by assisting with instructions on how to access your Dashboard and the Authentication process for your data security. Please click on the specific title of the subject you are looking for in the Table of Contents, and it will take you to the exact location of the resource within this document. Accessing your Dashboard Dashboard Link and Log In Screen 1. Open any Web Browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) 2. Click, type or copy the following URL: 3. Click Enter, and the Login Screen will display as such: 4. Enter in your AAD username and password 5. Select MIPS from the dropdown box, and press Log In Two Factor Authentication 2
3 You are directed to the Two Factor Authentication screen if: You are a First-Time User or There is a Change in IP Address of the device you are logging in from This Authentication is a security precaution to protect your data. It uses your Cell phone number and an as precaution from someone logging into your Dashboard who is unauthorized from a different location. You can enroll in Two Factor Authentication using: Only Cell Phone Only Both and Cell Phone One Time Password (OTP) Based on your selected preference(s) above, you will need to verify yourself prior to log in. The information that will be pre-filled is pulled directly from your Member Account. If you are an Administrator attempting to log in as a provider, please reach out to our Member Resource Center about changing the Provider s /password, or DataDerm to create an Administrators account. Only Authentication If you enrolled in Authentication using your only, the following screen will pop up: **The which is pre-filled is not editable. If the information is incorrect, please contact our Member Resource Center at SKIN (7546). 1. If the address is correct, click on the Submit Button. 2. You will receive an automated within a few minutes with a One Time Password (OTP). 3
4 3. You can type or copy and paste this OTP back into your log in page. Please type the OTP exactly as it appears in your Click Submit, and you will be taken to your MIPS Dashboard Cell Phone Only Authentication If you enrolled in Authentication using your Cell Phone only, the following screen will be displayed: 4
5 **The Cell Phone number which is pre-filled is not editable. If the information is incorrect, please contact our Member Resource Center at SKIN (7546). 1. If the cell phone number is correct, click the submit button 2. You will receive an automated text with your OTP 3. Type the OTP onto your log in page. Please type the OTP exactly as it appears in the message. 4. Click Submit, and you will be taken to your MIPS Dashboard and Cell Phone Authentication For both and Cell Phone Authentication, follow the directions for both steps above. **The Cell Phone number and s which are pre-filled are not editable. If the information is incorrect, please contact our Member Resource Center at SKIN (7546). MIPS Dashboard Welcome Screen The Welcome screen displays basic MIPS/QPP information from CMS. Select the blue Get Started button at the top right or bottom right of your screen to see your MIPS Dashboard Overview or all of your Providers. 5
6 MIPS Provider Eligibility and Verification If you have Administrator Credentials, you will be able to see all of your enrolled Providers. List of Providers You can: 1. Determine their MIPS Eligibility a. You can also do this by NPI lookup on the CMS Website: b. You can still choose to report for a provider if they are not eligible. i. They will not get a penalty or incentive in 2019 if individually reporting ii. Their encounters will count towards the GPRO TIN reporting 2. Validate their individual NPI 3. Validate the TIN you are reporting for this practice a. To validate all of your Providers with the same TIN, select the check box next to their names and click Bulk TIN. Then follow the instructions to validate the TIN. b. Put the entire year of 2017, as that is the year you are reporting for, regardless of circumstance: 1/1/ /31/ View their MIPS Category Scores 6
7 Individual Provider MIPS Dashboard From the screen above, select the specific Provider to view their MIPS Dashboard. Under the DataDerm Logo, you will be able to see which provider you are looking at. {E.g. MIPS > Provider > Provider Selection > Specific Provider} If you are logging in as a provider, you may not be able to select other Providers depending on your access. The below screen will be displayed, which shows your Providers MIPS information, inclusive of: Quality Category Score Advancing Care Information (ACI) Score o The ACI category is ONLY for practices that utilize a Certified EMR System. Improvement Activity (IA) Score Composite MIPS Score (All 3 Categories) via a speedometer and table o To view your score on the speedometer, select the check boxes above each category Advancing Care Information (ACI) Section The ACI section of MIPS is replacing the Meaningful Use program of previous years. This category allows you to complete base, performance and bonus measures which demonstrate the use of CEHRT within your practice. This category is ONLY for practices that utilize a Certified EHR system. You can use the DataDerm MIPS Module for reporting the ACI section, even if you are not integrated with the Registry. This category is out of 155 points possible, but when you achieve 100/155, you will automatically get all credit for that category. The ACI section is worth 25 points of your MIPS Composite Score. 7
8 Please click the following link for more information on the ACI Category: From the above screen, click See More under the ACI score. o Please select and save your measure set based on your EMR: 2014 ONC CEHRT Transition ACI Measures 2015 ONC CEHRT Traditional or Transition ACI Measures Combination of Traditional or Transition Please look up your EHR edition here: You will need to report the minimum Base scores before earning Performance or Bonus points. o The screenshot below gives you a quick snapshot of your progress 1. Select the time period you are entering in ACI information for a. Your EMR system may give you reports monthly, quarterly, or any other time frame. Please pay close attention to the time period you are entering data in for b. E.g. If you are getting monthly reports, select and add data 1 month at a time. January January, February February, etc. You can then choose the continuous months for reporting your score to CMS: [Jan Mar] 2. Select the Add/Update Data button to enter information 3. Select the month in which you want to add/update data, and click save 4. The applicable measures will appear per your EHR edition. The following columns will show: a. Measure ID: This is the identification given by CMS to distinguish the measure b. Measure: This is the title of the measure, and the indication if it is a part of the Base, Performance, or Bonus score. i. ALL BASE SCORES ARE MANDATORY c. Objective: The CMS objective the measure is completing d. Data: The information you have to enter to complete the measure for the selected time period i. Yes/No Attestation ii. Numerator/Denominator e. Performance: Your performance score is exclusively from your performance on the measure. A performance rate of 1-10 would earn 1% point; a performance rate of 11-20% would earn 2% points, and so on. f. Points: The amount of points you earned per measure (if applicable) per the time period you are entering data for. {Completing all of the required Base measures will earn you an automatic 50 points for ACI} NOTE: All of the mandatory (Base) measures will be me marked with a Red Asterisk (*). 8
9 5. When you are done entering data for the time period selected, click save. 6. You will be brought back to the original ACI page. Please change the time period to the same as the one you just entered data for. In this example: January. 7. All of your reported measures will be displayed. 8. Click all of the check boxes to the right of each measure, in order to save them for scoring and reporting. 9. Your snapshot status above your measures should change based on what you selected. Your earned points per measure, per Base/Performance/Bonus, and MIPS points will be displayed. 10. Scroll to the bottom of that page and click Save 9
10 11. A green confirmation will appear at the top of the page confirming your data has been saved 12. Repeat steps 2 10 to enter data for other months. 13. To get back to your MIPS Dashboard Overview: a. Select your Providers Name under the DataDerm logo > OR b. Select the Gray MIPS Tab Provider Providers Name OR 14. Your ACI MIPS Points will be adjusted with your estimated score based on our reported measures a. Select the check boxes above each category to see your Composite MIPS Score ACI Resources Please see the below resources pertaining to the ACI section: Dashboard or Technical Resources/Help: Please use the blue function in the bottom right of your Dashboard to send a direct message to FIGmd.
