Please reference the KB Article titled wiadvisor - Updating the wiadvisor micropod for instructions.
2 2 ELIGIBLE MOPAR VEHICLE PROTECTION PLANS Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans are now integrated into the wiadvisor User Interface. The same MVP Plans that your dealership chooses to offer from VIP in DealerCONNECT can now be displayed in wiadvisor on the Build Repair Order Tab and added directly to the RO. A PDF document containing eligible MVP Plan offers can be printed to share with the customer. Dealer Set-Up is required Please reference the document titled Selling Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans with wiadvisor. This document is attached with the 1.7 Release Notes eblast, and is available in the KnowledgeBase. PRE-CHECKING TRIAGE ITEMS NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS Triage Items can now default to being pre-selected when you go to the Build RO tab. This is similar to the pre-selection that was recently implemented for the Factory Required section. If you would like to turn on this feature for your dealership, please call wiadvisor Premium Support at the phone number or address listed below in the Contact Information section. AVAILABLE FLASH BEHAVIOR ENHANCEMENT A second type of Flash has been added to the Triage section of the Build RO tab. Those flashes which have no service document associated will now have three asterisks *** before and after their description. The purpose is to help you understand the likelihood that the flash truly applies to this vehicle. Those with a service document are quite likely to apply. Those without a document are less likely. This helps you set the expectation with the customer as to how certain you are that each item will be completed on his or her vehicle. Less than 5% of the available flashes fit this category of no service document so it may be quite a while before you see one. For this reason, wiadvisor will also display a reminder footnote under the Triage section of the Build RO tab, to remind you of the meaning of these asterisks *** in the flash name. Remember, the appearance of an available flash item is never an absolute guarantee that it applies to this particular vehicle. The Technician must always verify whether the flash is applicable by reviewing the information available on witech. VIP REPORT BUTTON The VIP Report can now be accessed at any time during the wiadvisor Write-Up Process by clicking the button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen labeled VIP. As you might expect, this report will only contain meaningful data when the customer name is filled in under the Customer Info tab. DTC DETAILS - ADMIN CONTROL Dealership Management can now control whether DTC Details are displayable on the wiadvisor User Interface.
3 3 CUSTOMER SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT - ADMIN CONTROL Dealership Management can now control whether a customer signature is required in order to complete the wiadvisor Write-Up. NEW BROWSER SUPPORT Internet Explorer version 11 ios & Safari 7.1 ios & Safari MULTIPLE MVP MESSAGES NEW FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS (CONT D) The VIP / History tab has an area reserved for Existing Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans. The space where Messages are displayed can now display multiple messages that may be present. evip SERVICE FAILURE MESSAGE When the evip service of DealerCONNECT fails to return data, the user is notified via a popup box saying, No response from DealerCONNECT. Continuing anyway. This way the user will understand why he or she sees no VIP data in wiadvisor. After acknowledging this popup, the user may elect to continue writing up his or her customer or may elect to re-pod the vehicle to retry the request for VIP data. SHOP SUPPLIES & TAXES CALCULATOR Dealership Management will now be able to turn off Sales Tax from being applied to individual service op codes for Dealer Recommended Services including Service Contracts as well as for Concerns. Dealership Management will now be able to turn off Shop Supplies from being applied to individual service op codes for Dealer Recommended Services including Service Contracts as well as for Concerns. Access accompanying user guide from R1.7 e-blast or find the KnowledgeBase. DMS SPECIFIC ENHANCEMENTS Automate: This fix adds the ability to insert user comments for each Op Code (line item) in the RO, in addition to the generic RO user comments.

11 11 CUSTOMER SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT - ADMIN CONTROL (CONT D) FIXES The Completed By field next to each vehicle in the Completed Queue has been fixed to always show the Service Advisor who clicked Complete for this Repair Order Fixed an issue where the EVIR status could falsely display as Unknown Error The VIP document no longer fails to generate on vehicles having a Complete Vehicle restriction. Fixed intermittent issue where the VIP document would sometimes not show incomplete recall info. Fixed an issue that prevented a successful MVP purchase transaction on business owned vehicles.
