3 KinderSoft Version update notes Released October 2018 Child colour flag no allows custom colours to be assigned. Improved staff allocation assistant view:- 1. Standard & non standard shifts are colour coded. 2. Shift start and end times are now shown on the timeline. 3. The period timeline view can now operate in single staff member mode allowing you to view a staff members shift pattern for the period selected in timeline format. Fix bug where the staff holiday entitlement flag was not being interpreted correctly. Staff holiday planer holiday days taken now adheres to the include staff shifts only setting. Flexible funding setting to include child holidays in hours attended calculation being applied to non-flexible funded children which could cause children with holidays that span the invoice period to not be included on the invoice run. Fixed issue with overriding staff default shifts. Default setting Display a confirmation prompt when entering attendance records has been change to true. KinderSoft has partnered with SMS (txt) messaging service provider Faretext ( Faretext are a UK based messaging service provider providing simple, cost-effective and reliable messaging services. Integration of the Faretext messaging service into KinderSoft allows you to send SMS messages to an individual parent/guardian or a group of parent/guardians via the KinderSoft correspondence module. Adding this functionality to KinderSoft allows you to easily maintain your customer recipients list without having to export to third party messaging providers. Outstanding amount column added to invoice view. Ability to restrict the loading of historical bookings from the database. Enabling this feature can improve performance where the database contains a large number of historical bookings. Additional Items Report. Report showing all additional items charged for between a period, grouped by child and optionally filtered by additional item(s). Remove recipients with invalid addresses from the bulk queue. Correctly report correspondence failures for recipients with invalid addresses when using the bulk option. Register report room selection incorrect when multiple rooms selected. Index out of bound error on session properties form if the session was based upon another sessions pricing and the other session is marked as inactive. Future parent/guardians were being included in the active correspondence list. Remove non existent columns from column customisation picker. Child category added to correspondence module filter options. Backup on exit functionality expanded by adding ability to store multiple backup copies. New child property Weekly Funded Hours. Child discount percentage can now be a decimal value. Mobile services platform completely rewritten using REST API s and Azure mobile backend. Index out of range runtime error when deleting invoices from the find & tagged views. Header panel visible on child list dialog. Revised pro-rata calculation of monthly invoice summary view. Fixed bug in flexible funding weekly mode where funding allocation from previous periods could be allocated to the current invoice period. Staff payroll report and staff holidays paid/unpaid flag. New secondary guardian details not being linked with child. Guardian #2 reside with parent checkbox setting not saved if that was the only thing changed. Funding year options extended to include 2 & 3 year extended choices. Guardian children display now only shows active children. The option to show/hide holiday children on the register has moved to the register filter box. School lookup items replaced with School entities, existing settings will be imported on first usage. Support for recurring diary entries re-instated. Correspondence Send Correspondence button caption changed to Compose Message. 3hr duration session added to start up data. A warning message is now displayed if entering booking level funding for a child that is already set for flexible funding. Removed the majority of the main menu icons.
