3 1 Global 1.1 CASH Launcher CF Changes to the Cashforwindows.exe file and patch upgrade process The existing cashforwindows.exe has been replaced by a launcher, while still called cashforwindows.exe this program now loads the latest actual CASH program from within the bin folder. Given the following files; When a user runs cashforwindows.exe (from their desktop shortcut), CASH loads the most recent Version from within the bin folder, in this case cashforwindows-2018_3_1_4.exe. This makes it possible to apply patches WITHOUT getting all users out of CASH. When users log out and back in again, the most recent Patch is automatically run. The Patch upgrade process has therefore changed, the new process is; - Download & extract the patch from the website - Copy the new CashForWindows-2018_3_1_4.exe into the CASH bin folder - Ask users to log out and back in when convenient CASH users will continue to use the previous version until they log out and back in. 4 1.2 Form Re-size CF Main forms are resizable The following forms are now resizable; - Invoices - Customers - Suppliers - Purchase Orders - Sites - Sales Enquiries 1.3 Caption changes CF The Salesman field re-captioned to Salesperson What was the salesman field displayed throughout CASH has been re-captioned to Salesperson in all forms and reports. 5 2 Sales Enquiries 2.1 Sales Enquiry Follow Ups CF Sales enquiries are linked to the Call from which the Sales Enquiry was created When a Sales Enquiry is created from an OnCall follow-up the Call Number is recorded within the Admin tab of the Sales Enquiry; Click the telephone button next to the call number will open the Call. 6 3 Service & Maintenance 3.1 Call Logging CF Appointment Date & Time within Call History Tab CASH displays the call Appointment Date and Time within the call history tab within sites; And within Job Costing; Page 6 of 16

7 3.2 Engineer Reports CF User defined Naming convention for Engineer Reports An option is available to configure the naming of Engineer reports according to your preference. To rename Engineer Reports; - Navigate to System Admin => Company Codes => CASH 2018 Configuration => OnCall => Docket ; - Enter text and tokens in the Filename Template field. In the example given the resulting file name of the Engineer Report would be; Docket for: 1234-Site Name-Ab1 2BC.pdf If the resulting filename results in a duplicate being created then CASH will automatically increments a suffix to the filename eg (1). 9 5 Scheduler 5.1 Recurring Appointments CF Option to view recurring appointments in Capacity view An option is available within Scheduler to toggle the display of recurring appointments within the capacity view; Enabling recurring appointments may have an impact on the performance of Scheduler. 10 6 Query 6.1 Data Viewer CF Option to display all CASH tables and contents Data viewer provides a CASH user with a view of every table in CASH in its raw form without having to open or design a query. Once open, a user can filter the resulting table on any column using the columns filters. An option is available within File => Query to open Data Viewer and double clicking a table opens it in the right hand panel; No links are displayed between tables and no export function is available so this is not a replacement for Query or ODBC reporting. However, this function is extremely useful for performing checks on your data when looking for anomalies or comparing records. For example, to confirm that all charges for a particular site have been setup correctly, open the SiteCharges table, filter the table on the required SiteID and you can easily compare the resulting records in the table. Any anomalies will be immediately apparent. Access to the Data Viewer is disabled for all users (except Supervisor) by default. Page 10 of 16

Inactive Engineers are no longer displayed in the Call Options Filter by Engineer list. Prevented the creation of a Blank Sales Enquiries by removing the Open Sales Enquiry button from newly created, but not saved, Sales Enquiries. Fixed an issue when creating a new mailing and selected an enquiry, the new mailing is now created with the correct status. Fixed an issue with the Sales Enquiry Filter where filtering the grid after clearing a Super Search wasn t working correctly. Prevented the Record Not Found error when Authorising a Purchase Invoice when the grid is filtered to show only un-authorised purchase invoices. When copying a Site CASH no longer copies the LASTPDAEDITDATE/TIME and therefore ensuring that the new site is sent the mobile device. Added a horizontal scroll bar the Call History tab of a Call Prevented the duplication of the username in the note field of a supplier. OnCallFormsForProcessing now runs as a minimised window preventing the popup from appearing behind MCSTPCPIP. Fixed the tabbing order within the Call Action form. Prevented the copying of a Sales Enquiry from bypassing the credit check (if enabled). Added all field from the Invoice Header table to the Super Search function within Invoice/Credits Provided a Customer Not Active Continue warning when assigning a call to a customer that has been suspended. Prevented a blank page from appearing in a Call report when detailed has been selected. Prevented a blank page from appearing in the Revenue Contract Report Fixed an issue when adding product checklists, the search now correctly selects the first item with the given search term. Prevented the Letter Print from the Call Grid from printing a duplicate letter Page 11 of 16

Modified MCSTCPIP to prevent non-oncall enabled Engineers from logging on, updating and creating OOH jobs. Fixed the CallActionCharge_NLCode to prevent the tblnominalcodes: Field Codes not found error. Modified the Invoice settlement text to read Payment due by: as opposed to Payment Due By. Fixed an issue within the Site System selection (at system level) where selecting a system would prevent any systems further up the list from being selected. Added the missing Invoicing => Stock & PO Goods Received & Analysis tabs to the High Security setup within a user. Fixed the Job Costing Print Grid function to include the Expected Completion Date field Modified the Call Attachment file size check to correctly calculate and compare an attachments size to that specified against the engineer. Fixed the Auto Call Charge Groups Reference Code, it now displays all the fields correctly. Removed the Last Purchase Date, Purchase Month To Date, Purchase Year To Date, Current Balance and Last Payment Date from the Supplier Report as these fields are no populated. Fixed the Range Check error when printing the view from within the Reminder Diary. Fixed an issue when deleting multiple sales enquiries to prevent the tbllocalsales Enquiry: Record Not Found error. Fixed an issue when importing a Latest Estimate into a sales enquiry and the estimate has been deleted, you no longer receive the update successful message. Modified the CASH Telephony module to accommodate data paths that contain spaces. Prevented a user from being able to move a Sales Enquiry Scheduler Entry start time if the entry has been locked. Modified the Call Appointment mergefield within Call Confirmation s, the field is empty if the call doesn t have an appointment. The Purchase Ledger Batch Update now correctly sets the cost price when posting to ledger if the price has been changed on the PI. Fixed the Branch Selection on the Renewal Invoice Extract it is now possible to run the extract for Customers with a blank branch code only. Fixed an issue with the Period Start Date and Group Invoice check, CASH now sets the Period start date (if required) for all grouped charges. Page 12 of 16

Modified the Bill On Completion of Maintenance (Chargeable Call) routine to correctly move the Period start date forward (if used). Fixed an issue with Watchdog where users with a space in their username couldn t run Watchdog automatically. Prevented the OnCall Engineer Report from displaying the Parts Used headers when only charge had been applied to the Action (as long as charges are not enabled to be displayed on the report). When deleting a reference code (ie Branch) you can prevent the Code being retained by first running Reference Code Replacement to replace the existing branch code with <BLANK> prior to deleting the Branch reference code itself. Fixed an issue with the wrong nominal analysis being added to a Purchase invoice when a nominal split had been applied and then the price changed. CASH now prompts you to select a new nominal split. Prevented an Access Violation when closing a site that had been opened from within a customer. Extended the Priority field on the Call Listing report to ensure it shows both digits. Prevented a user from creating a Stock bulk transfer record with no destination address. Fixed an issue when printing an Invoice (to ) from within the Invoice itself, you no longer receive the cannot focus on a disabled window error. Fixed an issue when raising Bill on Completion of Maintenance Invoicing for Leased customers, the invoice is now created for the lease customer as long as the lease and the main customer belong to the same company. CASH no longer freezes when raising a PO from within a Call and then closing the PO before adding a line. Fixed an issue with the Purchase Invoice grid where filtering the grid, opening a PI, then changing the status of the PI would cause the open PI to change record. Fixed an issue with the Sales Enquiry grid where filtering the grid, opening a Sales Enquiry, then changing the status of the Sales Enquiry would cause the open Sales Enquiry to change record. Fixed an issue with the Job Costing grid where filtering the grid, opening a Job Costing, then changing the status of the Job Costing would cause the open Job Costing to change record. Fixed an issue with the right click detail view of a scheduler entry, the associated actions grid columns are now resizable and the start and finished time displayed. Fixed an issue with the Police Authority reference code, the Reference Code selection no longer freezes when closing the Police Authority form. Page 13 of 16

Modified the Preventative Maintenance Extract report to display the correct preferred engineer whether set at System or Schedule level. Modified Purchase Orders to prevent the Receive Purchase Order button from remaining active once the PO had been fully received. Fixed an issue with the Invoice Calculator to ensure that it can be opened under all Operating Systems and environments. Fixed an issue when raising a Purchase Credit from a Purchase Return when a discount has been applied. CASH now submits the correct discounted price to SAGE. Fixed an issue with the Grid Print function, the function now works when special characters are used in the report title. Added the last edit date and last edit time fields to the Direct Cost Category table to ensure they are correctly synchronised within Travelling Sales. Modified the new scheduler warnings, the OK button has been replaced with Ignore and you no longer have to check the ignore warnings box. You no longer receive the Engineer does not cover the * area warning when moving calls to unallocated. When running Windows at 125% DPI, CASH now correctly scales the Action tab within a Call and the Call Action form itself. Fixed an issue when creating a Purchase Order from a Sales Enquiry. The products now correctly import into the Purchase Order. Fixed an issue when adding an Oncall Form to a non-call associated area (ie Schedule). CASH now selects the last Call Action rather than displaying a call not found error. Fixed an issue with Emaps where Booked on engineers were not showing when the map was opened. CF CASH now correctly respects (and moves forward) any dates set to 29/02. CF CF CF CF Modified Job Costing to prevent a user from entering a completed date that is earlier than the commencement date. Modified Watchdog & Insight to enable CASH usernames with spaces (ie JOE BLOGGS) to log into Watchdog & Insight automatically. Fixed an issue with recurring diary entries where moving a set between engineers and then to a different time would result in a TBLreccuringappointments: Field 'EnteredBy error. Modified the Job Costing summary Value fields to make them easier to edit and to prevent them from displaying multiple decimal places. Page 14 of 16

15 CF Fixed an issue to prevent the Exception occurred while updating values when selecting the branch filter within the Percentage Of Calls responded to on time KPI within Insight. CF Modified Watchdog to prevent screen flicker under Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. CF CF CF CF Fixed the Customer Default Response Time Reference Code to ensure it displays at the correct height. Fixed an issue when a call is assigned to an engineer then a different engineer is allocated to the call in scheduler. When the call is sent from the scheduler a cancellation is now sent to the first engineer. Fixed an issue with notifications, CASH now checks to see if an already exists in the queue before creating a new one. Modified MCS to create a daily log file to prevent the file size from exceeding the previous 2Gb limit and causing MCS to crash. CF The job costing calls link option is now fixed to Company 1. CF Cf CF CF CF Modified the date filter within Print OnCall Docket function within Service & Maintenance to be inclusive so that daily reports can be run by setting the from and to dates to be the same. Fixed an issue within the PO grid where you would receive an error when changing the status of a PO that had been opened from a filtered grid, where the status of the PO would cause the PO to no longer be included in the filtered grid. Fixed an issue with Scheduler where the height of the details view panel was not being save correctly. Prevented the manual entry of decimal places in the QTY fields within PO s and PI s When doing a Sales Enquiry mailshot and ticked the Save to Sales Enquiry Cabinet after print check box - the document is now saved in the cabinet. Modified MCS to prevent the use of the OS clipboard when creating e-invoices and docket attachments Modified the Engineer Report functionality to prevent scaling of the totals band when running with country regulations enabled Fixed an issue with the Site Report (by Customer) where CASH was adding a page throw even when the option wasn t selected.
