1 New Student Online Enrollment through txconnect Parents with students new to the district will be able to complete basic enrollment information through the New Student Enrollment section available in txconnect Parent Portal. The parent will need to establish a txconnect account (if they do not already have an existing account) and will complete the student s enrollment and then submit that enrollment information to the district electronically. A Registrar at any campus will be able to retrieve the new enrollment record and complete the student s enrollment information, create a student ID and save the information to itccs with a few simple steps. Parents will complete the following steps to enroll a new student to the district: 1. Establish a txconnect account Parent has an existing txconnect account: Parent with an existing txconnect account will log in with username and password. 1

Once the parent is logged in: 1. Click on My Account tab. 2. Click on Click here to Enroll a New Student for School to enroll a new student and proceed to steps outlined in #2 below.

Parent does not have an existing txconnect account and must establish a new account: Parent will proceed to the txconnect sign-on page and click the New User link to create a txconnect account. 2

Parent will enter user name, password and email address required in order to use OnLine Enrollment Parent will receive an email with a Verification Code.

That code should be entered here in the Confirm box and the parent should click the Next button. Parent will select a Hint Question from the drop-down list and enter an Answer (case sensitive) 3

4 Parent will bypass this step and click the Complete button. Once the student has been added to itccs, the Registrar may create & print the Portal ID and the parent will go back and add the student to the txconnect account using the Portal ID and Date of Birth. Once the parent has created the account and entered the Verification Code for the address: Click on Click here to Enroll a New Student for School to enroll a new student and proceed to steps outlined in #2 below. 4

6 Now enter the CAPTCHA code displayed and click the Continue button. Parent receives message that the Registration Key has been verified. Click Continue to proceed to step 3. 6

7 Step 3 Enter Addresses and Family/Emergency Contact Information Parent can now begin entering address information that will be used for all new students the parent is enrolling. Click Add Address and complete the information. 7

11 Parent can save the information entered and return at a later time to complete or submit the information to the district. Confirmation message received after saving and submitting data to the district. Click Continue to proceed to step 5 or click Choose Another Student to complete enrollment information for an additional student. 11

Step 5 Additional Downloadable Forms & Standard Forms Parent can now download and complete

12 Confirmation date displayed for all students whose information has been submitted to the district. Any Standard Forms listed must be completed before the parent may submit the new student. Once completed, parent will click the Submit to District button. 12

Step 6 Final Steps and Print Enrollment Confirmation Parent may choose to Add Another Student. If finished, the confirmation page may be printed for each student. 3.
