1 Instructions for Accessing Student Access Center (SAC) 1. Log into the FCS website 2. Access the on the Students and Parents menu by resting the cursor on the title Move the cursor to the Home Access link and click. 3. On the next screen, click on the Home Access Center button 4. When prompted to enter your login credentials, enter using either of the following formats: Username: or FCBOESTU\XXXXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXXXXX is your 10-digit student ID) Password: password that is used to log into the network computers Note: Do not click to remember my credentials or select to remember password.

2 Instructions for Accessing Student Access Center (SAC) 5. Click OK. The Daily Summary page of your SAC will open in a new window. 6. Now begin to explore SAC using the options on the side bar on the left side of the screen.

3 Instructions for Accessing Student Access Center (SAC) address and Alerts The Registration link allows you to input your address so that you can receive ed alerts. Click on the Edit Information link under Contact Information. Enter or correct the address and click Save. You will not be able to change any phone numbers. Once you have entered and saved an address, click on the My Alerts link. In the My Alerts window, check any or all of the alerts. This will generate alerts that will be sent to the student s account. For your security, always log off the SAC site and close the browser window. You should also sign out of the FCS Student Portal and close all open browser tabs and windows.

4 FCS Password Reset Utility on the Student Portal - Enroll in the Password Reset Utility to reset your network password NOTE: ALL students must also enroll in the Fulton County Password Reset Utility. They MUST reset their passwords before accessing SAC for the first time. Passwords can be changed by logging into a computer at school and then using CTRL-ALT-DEL Change Password, or by using the Fulton County Password Reset Utility on the portal.fultonschools.org. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on the Password Reset link. Click on the Self Service Password Reset Tool button Follow the directions to enroll.

5 Click on the Enroll link Enter your Account name: (10-digit student ID) and current Password Change the Domain to FCBOESTU Click Next Now you will proceed with the Enroll-Identity Verification Questions section. Select your security questions and type the answers. These are responses wyou will need in the future to unlock your account or reset otr change your password, so make sure you can remember them easily. Click Next

6 Complete the enrollment by changing your password. Password complexity requirements are - minimum length of 8 characters, use combination of capitals, lower case, numbers, and special symbols. (It may take minutes for your new password to become active.) Return to the Password Reset Utility welcome screen and click Change.

7 Enter the required information o Account Name student number o Domain change to FCBOESTU o Old password the one you used to log into the computer o New password type a new, private password o Confirm type the new password again for verification Click Next Your new password will take effect almost immediately for computer log in, but may not be effective for accessing SAC for 24 hours
