1 Introduction TMS (Time Management System) is CHC s web-based, time-reporting system. It replaces the paper timesheets that employees have been filling out and ing. A small group of employees have been using TMS for a short while during the trial period. Now, TMS is being deployed to the majority of the remainder of our employees. In this document you will find information on how to use TMS. Accessing TMS Browser type TMS will not work properly in all types of web browsers Internet Explorer is one of them. Use the Firefox or Chrome web browser instead. Where to go to install Firefox or Chrome: Logging in Chrome = Firefox = The URL (address) of TMS is (copy and paste this address in to the address field in the Chrome or Firefox browser. You may get some security messages when you navigate to the TMS login screen. In Chrome: click the Proceed anyway button. In Firefox: 1. Click the I Understand the Risks link 2. Click the Add Exception... button 3. Click the Confirm Security Exception button Updated 4/25/17 Page 1

2 Login screen Enter your username and password, and click the Login button. If you happen to forget your password, enter your user name and click the Reset Password button A support user will reset your password for you. You will be notified by once your has been reset. Reporting time This is the first screen you will see after logging in. The default week presented will always be the current week. This next section provides the details of this screen. 3 Part 1 1: Engineer this displays your name. 2: Add New click this to add a new blank row to report time. 3: Print Timesheet clicking this button produces a printer-friendly version of the timesheet if you want to print it. 4: CHC# enter the CHC# for the item to which you are reporting time. 5: ATT# enter the AT&T job # of the item to which you are report time. 6: ATT District select the respective AT&T area e.g., Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, etc for the work that is being reported. For work/time being reported is not for a specific AT&T area choose CHC Domestic. 7: Project Name select the project name of the work/item that is being reported. 8: Description of work select the description of the work that is being reported. 9: Job Code this auto-populates with the job code based on what is selected in the ATT District, Project Name, and Description of work fields. 4 Part 2 10: Complete Date enter a date in this field if the item being report is completed. Click the calendar icon to bring up a calendar to pick the date on which the work was completed. Click the icon with the red X to delete the date. 11: Quantity enter the quantity for the completed work being reported. 12: Price to Pay this auto-calculates based on the pay rate of the Job Code and the Quantity. 13: Total Hour(s) this is a running total of the hours reported for the week. 14: Sun thru Sat the column header will contain the date and a running total of the hours entered for the respective dates. Enter the hours being reported for the date on which the item was worked. 15: Total this is a running total of all hours entered for the work item reported in the week. 16: Add Notes click the Add Notes link to add a note. A counter will be displayed to indicate how many notes have been added to the item in that line. There are no limits on how many notes can be added. 17: Prev Week click this link to navigate to the previous week. 18: Next Week click this link to navigate to the next week. 19: Current date this displays the current date. 20: Change Password click this change your password. 21: Report a bug click this to report a problem with TMS. Use this also if you need time reported in a previous week (TMS will only allow you to 22: Sign Out click this to sign out/log off. Adding a new item to report 1. Click the Add New link 2. 5 Editing an existing item 1. Change the information in the field(s)/column(s) desired. 2. Click the Save button. Deleting an existing item 1. Locate the item you want to delete. 2. Click the Del button. Getting back to the default-week screen Whenever you need to get back to the screen that has the current week click on the TMS logo. Important things to know The cut-off for reporting time for the current week is 11:59:59 PM on Saturday. Only Admin users have the ability to add or modify time-reporting in previous weeks. FAQs Q: I accidentally clicked the Add New link and don t want to report the item. A: Don t click the Save button. If you don t click the Save button, that item won t be saved. 6 Q: I need something in a previous week changed/deleted. A: Click the Report a bug link. Provide as much information as possible on what needs to be changed/deleted. An Admin user will make the changes you requested and let you know when your request has been fulfilled s/he may contact you for more information. Q: The drop-downs don t have what I need to select. A: Click the Report a bug link. Provide as much information as possible on what needs to be in the drop-downs. An Admin user will make the appropriate adjustments so the drop-downs will have what you need and let you know when your request has been fulfilled s/he may contact you for more information.
