4 Time Cards Time Card Incorrectly Calculating Totals An issue was appearing on the Time Card screen concerning hours totals being calculated incorrectly when used with a combination of department/job transfers, punch rounding or meal deductions. Overtime in Amounts Less than Four Decimal Places Not Being Rounded An error in the system was discovered where minute overtime amounts (less than ) were not being rounded to zero. Worked Hours Premium with Weekly Threshold Cannot be Manually Deleted from Hours Total Hours on the Time Card that were assigned to a Worked Hours premium with a Weekly threshold were not able to be overridden by removing the premium from the hours total. Hours Adjustment Displaying Improperly An issue was discovered where Hours Adjustments were only displaying correctly if the Job Tracking module of the program was enabled. Reports Absence Request Report Error for Supervisor Users An error was occurring in the system concerning the Absence Request report generating an error with Supervisor or Custom users. Separate Favorites of the Same Report Not Retaining Settings An error was discovered where Report Criteria was not being retained when two separate Report Favorites were created from the same report. Settings are now saved on a per- Favorite basis. Who s In Report Displaying Incorrect Status with Lunch Punches An error was discovered in the system concerning the Who s In report displaying punches with a status of Lunch as Normal punches. Saving Pay Breakdown Report Does Not Display Pay Rate When viewing the Pay Breakdown report, the Pay Rate of the employee was being displayed. However, this setting was not being displayed when the report was saved. The option to view the employee s pay rate has now been added as one of the Report Options. 5/13/ of 7
5 Department Filter in EEO Report Does Not Function When using the EEO report, making a selection from the Department Filter was having no effect on the report outcome. Job Tracking Job Summary Not Displaying Estimates The Job Summary screen was not displaying estimates on Jobs and Tasks vs. Labor unless hours have been worked on the Job/Task. The screen now shows 0 hours worked vs. the estimate, and the variance between the two. Show Job/Task Number Option Does Not Function Clicking on the Show Job/Task Numbers in Drop Downs option now ensures that the appropriate numbers appear in the Enter Punch and Enter Absence dialog boxes. Default Department Setting on Job Profile Not Being Assigned to Hours on Time Card Job Profiles allow you to specify a Default Department Level for hours assigned to the job. This setting was not being displayed for Job Tracking hours on the Time Card. Premium Pay and Pay Groups Recalculating a Pay Period Affecting Premiums on Previous Period An error was occurring concerning After X premiums based on Overtime Week. When the overtime week fell into two different pay periods, the premium for the previous week was being altered when the period was recalculated. Editing Pay Groups Affecting Previous Pay Period An error in the system was occurring when an employee s Pay Group assignment was changed, and their current pay period was recalculated. The previous pay period was being affected by the new Pay Group rules. Pay Groups Unassigning Associated Policies An error was occurring in the system where the policies associated with Pay Groups were being unassigned from the group. Hours Interval Rounding Policies Unavailable for Assignment in Pay Groups When creating Pay Groups, Hours Interval type rounding policies were not being included as available options for assignment to the group. 5/13/ of 7
6 Accruals, Holidays and Misc Policies Exclude Overtime Option on Hours Based Accruals Not Excluding Comp Time An error was occurring where Compensatory Time was not being excluded for Hours Based Accruals with the Exclude Overtime option enabled. Longer Field Length for Entering Comp Time Balances When entering Compensatory Time balances, the field lengths have been increased to allow up to 7 characters. Holiday Hours Generation for Unscheduled Days A change has been made allowing Holiday hours to be automatically generated by the system for employees who are not scheduled. Unscheduled holiday hours will be generated based on the Holiday Hours specified on the Pay Policies section of the main Employee tab. Department and/or Job Structure Corruption An error in the system was occurring when editing the parent/child relationships within a departmental or job structure, causing the entire structure to disappear. The system was creating a new root department level with nothing tied to it. Absence Requests Displaying Hidden Users for Send To When creating an Absence Request, the Send To option was displaying users that are created by the program for use with the Clock Server utility and are not meant to be accessed from the program. These users have been hidden. Schedule Lockout Punches Showing Up as Active on Time Card Discrepancies were appearing in Time Card hours calculations due to error punches created by the Schedule Lockout feature. These errors were appearing as Active punches on the Time Card. Employees with Apostrophes ( ) in their Names are Displayed Incorrectly in the Spreadsheet Schedule Screen An error has been corrected so that employees with apostrophes ( ) in their names are displayed correctly in the Spreadsheet Schedule screen. 5/13/ of 7
7 Program Security and Options SMTP Service Option The option has been added to use a SMTP service when ing from within the TimeForce program. Click on the Admin tab at the top of the page, and then on the Settings link located in the System Settings section of the screen. Under the System Setup header, click on the Edit link. Under the section labeled Settings, put a check mark in the Use Custom SMTP Settings and enter the required SMTP settings. Security Issue Regarding Deletion of Punches A security issue was discovered where Employee users were able to use a malicious string in the program URL to delete the punches from the TimeForce database. Daylight Saving Time Option Using Incorrect Date Range The Observe Daylight Saving program option was using a date range value that has changed since This date range has been updated. Password Change Message Does Not Override Other Program Prompts This error concerned new users created in the system with the Require Password Change option selected. Upon logging into the program, other program prompts (such as Please Verify Time Card, etc.) were appearing to the user before the prompt to change the user password.
