1 State Unit on Aging Directors and Data Coordinators Quick Start Guide NAPIS SRT v3.0 The State Reporting Tool (SRT) is a data entry, comparative analysis and technical assistance system to support the Administration for Community Living grantees in reporting timely and accurate annual State Program Reports (SPR). The purpose of this Quick Start Guide is to offer State Unit on Aging Directors and data coordinators a guide to use when conducting functions within the SRT application. For a new SRT account, please contact Mediware for assistance: 1. customersupport@mediware.com; 2. lisa.sherman@mediware.com; 3. robyn.hesse@mediware.com or 4. Call , option #4. Log in To Log in click Sign In in the top right hand corner of the home page. Enter your username and password. Forgot Password: Users can reset the password without contacting Mediware.
2 Create NSIP/SPR Report On the home page, Click Reports in the top toolbar. Now you are at the State Program Reports List page. Click New Report. Verify NSIP/SPR Before your NSIP/SPR can be submitted, it must be verified. NAPIS SRT verifies data at two levels: report and section. Click the Verify Section to only verify the tab selected. Click the Verify Report button to verify the entire report. Correct Verification Errors Use the error pane (highlighted in red) to go to the section that has verification issues. Click the specific error message you want to correct to make an adjustment. Check your data with analysis reports NAPIS SRT contains numerous analysis reports allowing you to check your data prior to submission. To run the report, Click the Analysis button in the top toolbar. Be sure to correct any errors when running the following reports: 1. 2 Year Comparison Report 2. Service Unit and Expenditure Report 3. NSIP Report 4. Client Characteristics Report 2
3 Submit NSIP 1. Navigate to the State Program Reports list by clicking on Reports on top of the toolbar. 2. Confirm the report you want to submit says Verified in the NSIP Status column. 3. Under NSIP Actions column, click the Submit NSIP link. 4. Confirm submission by clicking yes in the pop up window. 5. The NSIP Status column should now say Submitted. Submit SPR 2. Confirm the report you want to submit is says Verified in the SPR Status column. 3. Under the SPR Actions column, click Submit SPR. 4. Confirm the submission. 5. The SPR Status column should now say Submitted. Unsubmit NSIP 1. Navigate to the State Program Report list by clicking Reports on top of the toolbar. 2. Locate the NSIP report you want to unsubmit. 3. Under the NSIP Actions column, click Unsubmit NSIP. 4. Confirm unsubmission by clicking yes in the pop up window. 5. Your report will now have an NSIP Status of In Progress. 6. Make the appropriate changes and then re-verify and re-submit your report. 3
4 Unsubmit SPR 2. Locate the SPR report you want to unsubmit. Under the SPR Actions column, click Unsubmit SPR link. 3. Confirm unsubmission. 4. Your report will now have an SPR Status of In Progress. 5. Make the appropriate changes and then re-verify and re-submit your report. Certify NSIP* 2. Locate the NSIP report you want to certify. Under the NSIP Actions column, click Certify NSIP. 3. Confirm certification. 4. Your report will now have an NSIP Status of Certified. Certify SPR* 2. Locate the SPR report you want to certify. 3. Under the SPR Actions column, click Certify SPR. 4. Confirm certification. 5. Your report will now have an SPR Status of Certified. Note: Certified data is not available for editing. To edit certified data, please contact your ACL Regional Office State Liaison for assistance. Delete a Report Only reports that are have not been submitted can be deleted. 2. Under the Actions column, click Delete. 3. Confirm deletion. Sort Columns in State Program Reports List You can sort columns in the State Program Reports list by ascending or descending order. 2. Click the (three dots) vertically aligned found in each Column heading. 3. Choose Sort Ascending or Sort Descending. 4
5 Hiding and Viewing Columns in State Program Reports List You can choose which columns are in view and which are hidden. 2. Click the (three dots) vertically aligned in any column 3. header, then select Columns. 4. Put a check mark next to the columns you want displayed, uncheck those you want hidden from view. Filter Columns in State Program Report List You can also filter each column. When you filter, only reports meeting the criteria you choose to filter by will appear. 2. Click the (three dots) vertically aligned in header of the column you want to filter, then select Filter. 3. Options for filtering are displayed. For example, to filter on the Fiscal Year column, you would check next to This would only show To clear filter, click again on the (three dots) vertically aligned, then Filter, then uncheck the options you previously selected. To Clear All Filter Columns in State Program Report List To clear all filters, click again on the (three dots) vertically aligned, then Filter, then Clear. Note: Certified data is not available for editing. To edit certified data, please contact your ACL Regional Office State Liaison for assistance. Change Order of Column Headers in State Program Report List You can rearrange the order of columns in the State Program Report List. 1. Click and hold the column header you would like to move, then drag it to the desired location. 5
