Section 508 was enacted to eliminate barriers in information technology, to make available new opportunities for people with disabilities, and to encourage development of technologies that will help achieve these goals. The Administration on Aging (ACL/AoA) is committed to making the NAPIS State Reporting Tool (SRT) accessible to National, State and Local users. Accessibility in the SRT shall be reviewed, and as needed, enhanced with each release to address requirements that make SRT more accessible for people with disabilities. Users with vision or mobility impairments can navigate SRT using the keyboard to tab through the application or use short cut keys. The product is most compatible with screen reading software JAWS version 14 or higher. In addition, navigation can be enhanced using a high contrast setting. As if this release, numerous reports executed from the Analysis Report button are 508 compliant and will render readability in Microsoft Excel, with no merged cells. During the annual reporting period (January 1 to January 29 only) enhanced support is also available on weekends, evenings, and holidays. 3 Read Me When upgrading to SRT v2.5, you will need to first uninstall the current version (2.4) in order to install the new version. Not to worry, this will NOT impact any work you have stored in the SRT database. All reports previously created under the prior 2.4 software will remain available to you after installation of the new version. Once uninstallation is complete, then you are ready to install the new SRT application. SRT uses Microsoft's ClickOnce technology. This means that the SRT MUST be installed by the specific end user who will access the software. If you are getting IT assistance for steps 2 and 3, be sure the person installing SRT (Step 3) is logged into the machine as you, the end user not as administrator. To download SRT, go to After your initial download, you can run the SRT from Windows: Start > All Programs > US Administration for Community Living > SRT. Compatibility *Operating System: It is recommended that users are up to date with the latest service packs and Harmony will always test on the latest platforms. If an issue is identified with a particular service pack or update, we will notify the user community upon identification of the issue. ** Harmony only supports Internet Explorer 10 and 11 on Windows 8 in Desktop Mode. Metro Mode is not supported. Only versions of Windows 8 that support Silverlight will be supported by Harmony. This excludes Windows RT. Note: Browser versions not listed with an operating system above are not supported by Microsoft. Enhancements Modifications and changes to existing features. Resolved Issues/Defects Issues/defects that been addressed in the current release. A. Known Issues This section details software issues that are known to exist at the time of release. Users do not have to report these issues to support, and should take the recommended steps to work around the issue.
