2 WELCOME TO AFFILIATE REX V2 The following guide will help you set up your system ready to promote your AUTO-APPROVED JVZOO affiliate Products. Please view the Affiliate Rex videos as this will give you both a good overview and over the shoulder guidance. ACCESS THE SETTINGS PAGE Login to Affiliate Rex from the Login link on the top menu. When logged in you will be automatically taken to the Management Center. You will something like the screenshot below. Before using Affiliate Rex V2 you will need to set up a few things like API key for your chosen autoresponder. The easiest setup is to use GetResponse as your autoresponder and this is the one we recommend. From the Affiliate Centers drop down menu select Affiliate Center Settings And Maintenance Page 2

3 Note that there is a field to add your ClickBank ID, sometimes called your nickname. At this point is is not required as we are simply focusing on the GetResponse settings. If you do not have a GetResponse Account then you can get a 30 day free trial from the big orange button at the top right of the screen. Simply follow the prompts to create your free trial account. 4 ADD GETRESPONSE API KEY TO AFFILIATE REX The above screenshot shows the API key after it has been added. Initially yours will be empty and not display anything. To get your GetResponse API key: 1. Click the link Click Here For New Key (as seen in the screenshot above). You need to be logged into your GetResponse account of course. You will now see the following screen in GetResponse. 2. Copy the Secret key. If no secret key is showing then generate one by clicking the 'Generate the API key' button. 3. Go back to the Affiliate Rex Settings Page and paste the API in the API field. 5 4. Click the 'Add GetResponse API' button to save the setting. ADD GETRESPONSE API KEY TO JVZOO You now need to add the same API key into JVZoo. 1. While logged into your JVZoo account click the Click Here And Add The Above Get Response API Key To JVZoo link (see screenshot above). To bring up the window shown below. Page 5

6 This will be empty originally. Copy and paste the GetResponse API key into API Key field as shown above and Save. Click the CREATE NEW CAMPAIGN button to create a new campaign (list) and give your campaign a name a shown below. The name can be anything as this list will not be used. It is only created as part of the API setup process. Page 6

7 Click the Create New List button to save your settings and return to your Account Settings as shown below. Select the new list/campaign and again click SAVE GETRESPONSE ACCOUNT. If you already have existing campaigns you can select one of those. It doesn't matter what campaign you choose. Affiliate Rex will create new campaigns for its own use later. Page 7

8 SELECTING YOUR AUTORESPONDER 1. Go back to your Affiliate Center Settings & Maintenance Page. 2. Select the GetResponse radio button and click the SELECT AUTORESPONDER button to save the setting. Affiliate Rex will now use GetResponse as your default Autoresponder. Well done! At this point you have configured everything required to start using Affiliate Rex. The next section explains how to get your auto-approved affiliate links, create campaigns and tracking links. Page 8

9 GET JVZOO AFFILIATE LINK APPROVAL In this section I show you how to get your JVZoo affiliate products autoapproved and get your raw affiliate links to load into Affiliate Rex. 1. From the Affiliate Center drop-down menu select the J VZoo AutoApproval Affiliate Center. As shown below: 2. Select a product from the center column drop down menu and click the PRODUCT DETAILS button. This will bring up the Product Details panel which contains your affiliate request link, JV page link and coupons etc. in the right hand column. As shown below. Page 9

10 3. Click the Request Affiliate Link URL to bring up the JVZOO page. You will need to be logged into JVZoo at this point. Page 10

11 4. Click the REQUEST LINK button. This will turn into a GET LINKS button (as shown above) when you are approved. Approval is normally automatic and immediate. You will also be ed when it is approved. 5. Once approved click the GET LINKS button and the link you need will popup in a new window as shown below. Page 11

12 6. Copy the approved affiliate link and return to Affiliate Rex. Ensuring the correct product is still selected in the drop down box, paste the new link into the Add Approved Affiliate Link field and click the ADD APPROVED LINK button. This will add the raw affiliate link to that table as shown below. ADDING BUYER LIST & BONUS TO JVZOO Each new product in Affiliate Rex will need configuring in JVZoo. This is a one -off process. 1. Open up the product details box again to see the Request Affiliate Link. Click the link for quick access to JVzoo settings page. I will show you that in a moment. Page 12

13 ADD A BONUS 2. In Affiliate Rex,just below the PRODUCT DETAILS box you will see the BONUS PAGE URL box. 3. Copy a URL from that box (You can click on the URL to see the bonus page) and click the Request Affiliate Link URL to take you to JVZoo or go to the browser tab you opened earlier. Page 13

14 4. Open the ADD BONUS tab and add in a name of your choice and the Bonus URL you copied from Affiliate Rex. Click SAVE BONUS and your bonus will now be automatically delivered to anyone who buys through your link. ADD BUYER (LIST) GETRESPONSE CAMPAIGN This is very important as it is the way that buyers will get added to your list. This buyers list is one of the most valuable assets in the Affiliate Rex system. 1. Click GETRESPONSE AUTOMATION (above the 'add bonus' tab) to see a page similar to the screen shot below. 2. The fields will initially be blank and you will need to click the LOAD DEFAULTS button that will automatically add in your API key as shown above. Page 14

15 3. If you already have campaigns created they will now show in the drop down list. If not you can create a new campaign (list) by clicking the CREATE LIST button (list and campaign are the same thing in this sense). This will open a new window like the one shown below. 4. Enter a list name of your choice and click the green button to save the data. Initially it is probably a good idea to create one list and use it for all your products. That way all your buyers will be added to one list. 5. Go back to your JVZoo AUTORESPODER INTEGRATION page and select the list you just created. You may have to refresh the page to display the new list in the drop down options. 6. Click SAVE to save the settings. Note: Repeat 5 & 6 above for each JVZoo auto-approved affiliate product. Great stuff. You now have your affiliate product(s) loaded into Affiliate Rex. That is all the hard work done and you are ready to start creating Affiliate Rex tracking links. Page 15

16 CREATE GETRESPONSE (Or Other Autoresponder) CAMPAIGN A campaign is just another name for a list. So creating a campaign is just creating a new list. Actually in Affiliate Rex this also creates a lead magnet, an exit-pop and a thank-you that is delivered immediately anyone subscribes to the list. This delivers the free product to your subscribers. People can subscribe either via the web form in the lead magnet or the web form in the sales page exit-pop. Lead magnets and exit-pops are related to the product chosen and automatically created. This is how Affiliate Rex can instantly build your sales funnel and list automation. Page 16

17 To create a campaign: 1. Choose a product from the drop down list under Create Autoresponder List in the left hand pane of the Management Center. 2. Then Click the CREATE CAMPAIGN button. You will get a confirmation message of a successful creation and the new campaign will appear in the drop down box under Create Affiliate Link. See the screenshot below. Note that a campaign (list) has the product name followed by a unique campaign id (5 alphanumeric character for GetResponse). You can create multiple campaigns for the same product if you wish. Although at this point I would stick with one. Think of a campaign as the actual sales funnel mechanics. i.e. the sales page, the lead magnet, the exit-pop, the free offer, the subscriber list and the free offer delivery . Page 17

18 CREATING AFFILIATE REX TRACKING LINKS Each link created will be unique to a specific campaign. But, in the same way that you can have multiple campaigns for each product, you can also have multiple tracking links for the same campaign. In fact multiple tracking links is likely to be your main goal. This means that any particular tracking link for a specific campaign,will add subscribers to the same list. So by sending different traffic sources to different tracking links you will be able to compare the different traffic sources for subscriber and sales conversions. All the traffic to the tracking links can be viewed ion the 'Affiliate Traffic Statistics' page. Any Sales will also be listed so you can easily see how well each traffic source is performing. This is critical to the long term success of your affiliate business. To create an Affiliate Rex tracking link: 1. Select a campaign from the drop down box under Create Affiliate Link and enter a unique description (tracking link name) in the box below it. 2. Click the CREATE AFFILIATE button to create a Sales Link (one that will send visitors direct to the sales page. OR Click the CREATE LEAD MAGNET LINK button to create a Lead Link (one that will send the visitor to an sign-up form and a free offer, before going to the sales page. The Lead Link is generally better used on cold traffic for list building. The Sales link is generally better used on your own traffic. Page 18

19 When the link has been successfully created you will see something like this. Note the message says New Link Created when successful. The link you created (or tried to create if it fails) can be seen listed as the current link. If you create a Lead Link it will be listed in the Leads drop down option box If you create a Sales Link it will be listed in the Sales drop down option box You can select any link from any option box and it will then display as the current link. This allows an easy copy and paste of the Affiliate Rex Link for distribution. Note also the test link option button next to the link. Clicking this will go to the sales or lead magnet page so you can test the link. Page 19

20 Note: The link name needs to be unique across the whole system. If you find you cannot create a link try adding x or X or other character in front or after the name. i.e. XngaOffer NGAOfferx FreeSoftware2 xinstagramspecial TMfacebookOffer Keep your link to a maximum 24 characters if possible. When creating a Lead link you can include the word 'Free'. This is obviously good for the person clicking the link and it means you can easily identify it as a Lead Link later. Creating logical unique links makes traffic tracking and analysis much easier so think ahead and consider your naming convention. CONGRATULATIONS You have now done everything you need and have all the information to start using Affiliate Rex, collecting subscribers and making sales. I recommand you add the auto-approval products, create a few campaigns and tracking links. Play with the system to gain some experience. It really is very simple to use. Feel free to practice creating lists and links. You can delete them later from the Affiliate Center Settings & Maintenance page. Scroll down to see the big red buttons! Once you are familiar with the JVZoo Auto-Approval section you can explore the other Affiliate Sections. Page 20

21 SENDINBLUE AUTORESPONDER If you want to use Send In Blue autoresponder with Affiliate Rex you will need to configure the settings. Click Click here To Show/Hide SendInBlue Settings. Only required if using SendInBlue in the Settings & Maintenance module to access the additional settings fields. As Send In Blue is a free service you will need to create an account and follow a specific approval process before being allowed to send bulk s. This is a straight forward process and I have documented it thoroughly in the main training, You will find detailed video training in the Affiliate Rex Set-Up Guides ( under Videos 3. Page 21

22 JVZOO, CLICKBANK & WARRIOR+ THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS If you wish to add additional JVZoo, Clickbank or Warrior+ products to Affiliate Rex this can be done from the appropriate (non-auto-approved) pages. Select your required page from from the Affiliate Centers drop down menu. To use Clickbank you need a free Clickbank account. You will also need to add your Clickbank ID (also known as your Clickbank Nickname). This is the name you use to sign into Clickbank. Just add it into the Clickbank Name field on the Settings & Maintenance page and click the 'ADD CLICKBANK NAME' button to save your settings.
