4 4 Registering On Social Viral Video 1. Go to and click on Register. 2. You will find the registration instructions. Accomplish the first step then go back to the Registration page for step 3.

5 5 Creating your Facebook App: For a step-by-step video on how to create a Facebook Developer App, watch this: 1. Go to the link 2. Click on Log In on the upper right corner and login with your and password. (if you are already signed in, ie you see you profile image, then proceed to next step) 3. After that, click on Apps and choose the option Register as a Developer.

6 6 4. You will be prompted to accept the Facebook Platform Policy and Facebook Privacy Policy. Click on the space beside NO and it will show YES. 5. Click Next. 6. In some cases, Facebook would ask you to verify your account by asking you to enter your phone number. Key in your number. Go ahead and click Send as Text. 7. You will receive an SMS that contains your Facebook Confirmation Code.

7 7 8. Enter the Confirmation Code on the space provided and click on Register. 9. You will get a notification that you have successfully registered as a Facebook Developer. Click Done. 10. Go back to Apps on the upper left corner and click Create New App. 11. Enter your App s Display Name. Namespace is optional. 12. For the Category, choose Apps for Pages. After that, click Create App.

8 8 13. Security check will come up. Enter the captcha text in the box. Click Submit. 14. After this, you will be redirected to the Facebook Developer App Dashboard. 15. On the left panel, click on Settings. Take note of your own unique App ID and App Secret. You will be needing this later on in the registration process. 16. Enter your contact .

9 9 17. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Add Platform. 18. A new window will come up with several options. Click on Website.

10 Enter the link on the space provided for Site URL. 20. Don t forget to save changes. 21. After that, go to Status & Review on the left panel. Click on the space beside NO.

11 YES will appear beside NO. You will also get a pop-up asking if you want to make the app public. Go ahead and Confirm. 23. You will see a green dot beside your App Name. Your Facebook App is now ready! 24. Go back to the Registration page and proceed with Step You will be asked to fill out the following: ü the where you received your Authorization Code ü Name ü Password create your own password ü Code Authorization code sent via ü User ID you can do this by typing in the address bar. It will show something like this:

12 12 ü App ID you will get this in your FB Developer App Dashboard ü App Secret you will get this in your FB Developer App Dashboard 26. After accomplishing everything, accept the Terms of Use and click Finish. You are now logged in to Social Viral Video!

13 13 Home Upon logging in, you will be brought to the Home screen which shows the Social Viral Video (SVV) welcome video. The top menu displays the following items: Home This takes you back to the Home screen Support This will open a new window and take you to Support Logout This will log you out of SVV

14 14 Profile The Profile page shows your Personal & Facebook details. This information will be displayed once the SVV account has been linked to your Facebook account. It also shows the option to Update Details, Update Facebook App, Renew Your Token or Delete Account. Information about the current user who is logged in can be found at the far right side of the page. On the left side is the Menu where you will be able to see the different features of SVW which you have access to. Update Details This will allow you to change your Personal Details such as your Name and Password. Click Update to save the changes. Update Facebook App This allows you to update your Facebook Developer App details such as your Facebook App ID and App Secret. Click Update to save the changes.

15 15 Delete Account This allows you to delete the user account that you created from the server. Reactivation of the account can only be done by an Administrator or the Support Desk. Note: If you have deleted your account and you are attempting to register again with the same account, this will give you an error. Please contact the helpdesk if you are having trouble with registration. Send screenshots if you encounter any errors.

16 16 SVV + Leads This is where you can search for a fan page. Once you select the Search Fan Page button, it will search for any related fan page based on the keyword(s) you entered on the fan page name field. Fan Page Name - This is where you put the name of the fan page that you would like to search for. Search Fan Pages - This will load all related fan page names from the keyword(s) on the fan page name field. Search Type Search for images or videos Contains the keywords - This field is used to filter all the searched video results with the specific word(s) that you want to be displayed. Post s Starting Date - This filter will only show posts starting on the date provided until the present date. Post s Ending Date - This filter will only show posts that has been posted on or before the date specified on the field. How to Use SVV + Leads 1. Enter the Fan Page Name or keyword(s). 2. For Search Type, choose whether the results will be images or videos. 3. Click Search Fan Pages. (For example funny cats) Note: The options Contains the keywords, Posts starting date and Post s ending date options are only available after the Fan Page Name results are displayed. This may take a few seconds or a few minutes depending on the amount of content that the SVW will be able to find in Facebook. 4. Select Fan page (up to 5 Fan Pages can be selected by ticking the box on the right side of the search results).

17 17 5. Enter keywords in the field Contains a text. (For example funny cats) 6. Select the Post s Starting/Ending Date. 7. Click Search. By default, the fan pages are listed in alphabetical order. TIP! Double- clicking on Fans will arrange the Fan Pages from the highest number of likes to the least.

18 18 TIP! Double- clicking on Talking About will arrange the Fan Pages from the highest number of mentions to the least. 8. The results can also be ordered according to the number of Likes (Ascendant or Descendant), number of Comments (Ascendant or Descendant), number of Shares (Ascendant or Descendant) or number of times Published (Ascendant or Descendant).

19 19 Above each thumbnail in the search results shows the number of Shares, the number of Likes and the number of Comments. Clicking on the gear icon will show the options View Post and Export Members. View Post will open a new window and take to Facebook page where image posted. Export Members will Export the User IDs of all who commented and liked the post. You will be prompted to save this.csv file. The time it takes to prepare the report varies from the number of likes and comments that an image/video has.

20 20 To Manually Schedule a Publication 1. Tick the check box beside the gear icon. 2. Choose the Fan Page where you want the post to be scheduled. 3. Click Schedule Publication. 4. Enter your text or caption in the provided area. 5. Choose desired day and time when the post will be scheduled. 6. Click Schedule Publication. Note: When selecting a day for post to be published, your post will be scheduled from tomorrow. Example: If today is Friday and you want your post to go out tomorrow please choose Saturday. If you post on the same day, which is Friday, the post will go out Friday next week. If you want your post to go out today, please schedule them for any day and go to Social Video Robo - Schedules. In this section, find your post and click Publish next to it.

21 21 SVV + Youtube Find the best video to suit your needs based on this powerful search. To Search for YouTube Videos 1. Enter the keywords or the video title you are looking for. 2. Choose how the results will be ordered - by date posted, rating, relevance, title, video count and total views. 3. You can also set the video s starting/ending date.

22 22 Above each thumbnail in the search results shows the number of Views, the number of Likes and the number of Comments. Click on the gear icon to View Video. This will open a new tab and open the YouTube link of the video. Click on the thumbnail to make the image bigger. Click on the arrow to go to the next thumbnail preview.

23 23 SVV Robo + Templates This is where you can create a template for a specific fan page and use that template for posting your desired images and videos. Fan Page All the Facebook Fan Pages which you are an admin/manager of will appear here. If you have a number of Facebook Fan Pages, you will have to set up each one of them to enable automatic posting. Time Zone - You can specify a time zone when you want your images to be published on. Publish Order - based on the highest number of Likes, Comments, or Shares. This publish order is going to be used only for Automatic Schedules defining the criteria of the order of the images/videos. Automatic - On or Off. This field defines if the Automatic is active or not. In case it s active, the system will automatically search images on the Fan Pages added, select the number of images/videos defined on the Dates field, select from any series of texts from the Text Template, and schedule the images/videos. Attribution - On or Off. This field is used to track from where the image was taken from. In case it is active, along with the text from the Text Template, the system will indicate the Fan Page where the image/video came from. Type Schedule Choose whether the system will automatically post images or videos. Video Description This is the short description of the videos of the videos you are looking for.

24 24 To Add a YouTube Video Template 1. Click on Add Video From. 2. Enter the keyword on the space provided. 3. Choose how the videos will be ordered whether it s according to Date, Rating, Relevance, Title, Video Count, View Count 4. Set the quantity of videos to be shown. The maximum is To start scheduling, click on Preview. 6. The videos pulled up will be shown, with the option to Schedule Now.

25 25 When you click on Schedule Now, it will give you an option to change your caption/text and to reschedule the date and time. It will also give you the option to include a banner image (if it has been previously setup), a banner text, or not. 7. Click Schedule Publication to schedule the video. To Add a Facebook Video Template: 1. Click Add Video From. 2. There is no option to enter a keyword or to set an order. 3. The only option available is to specify how many videos will be pulled up. The maximum is Click Create. Note: Facebook Video Template has no preview option. To Add a Fan Page You Wish To Schedule Content From 1. Click Add Fan Page. 2. Enter Keywords and Click on Search. This may take a few seconds to a few minutes.

26 26 3. Choose a maximum of 7 Fan Pages and click Add at the bottom right. When the Fan Pages had been added, you will get the notification: Template Fan Page created successfully.

27 27 To add a Time & Date for Posts: 1. Click Add Date. 2. Choose the Day of the Week and the desired Time of posting. 3. Click Create. When the new date has been added, you will get the notification: Template Date created successfully. You can add as many dates as you can. Here is a sample Date Template:

28 28 To Add a Status Template for Posts: 1. Click on Add Text. 2. Enter desired text that will accompany the image/video post. 3. Click Create. When the new Status Template for Posts has been added, you will get the notification: Template Date created successfully.

29 29 Video Opt-in Templates Fan Page Configurations List This option is integrated with your autoresponder. If it is turned on, it will promp the viewer to enter an address before proceeding with the video. Call to Action These are premade buttons to encourage viewers to sign up. List Configurations Force Capture - This requires the viewer to enter an address for the video to continue playing. Warning Text Create your own tagline to encourage viewers to sign up to your list Select Mailer Autoresponders included are Aweber, MailChimp, GetResponse API Key - Please contact your Autoresponder provider to get your own unique API Key Campaign Token - Please contact your Autoresponder provider to get your own unique Campaign Token

31 31 Call to Action (CTA) Configurations Position Choose where you want your CTA button Image Choose from 5 CTA buttons Link Enter the link that you want your viewers to be redirected to when they click on the CTA button This is how the Call to Action button looks like in Facebook:

32 32 Video Advertisement Template You can choose from uploading your own banner or putting a text on the video screen. But you cannot have both the banner and text appearing on the video. URL This is where your clients will be redirected to after clicking on the banner. This is how the Banner Image Advertisement will look like in Facebook:

34 34 SVV + Schedules This is where you will see all the images/videos that you have scheduled using SVV + leads or SVV Robo + Templates. This page will show the following: ü Thumbnail of the videos/images that were scheduled ü Thumbnails of Video Banner/Text ü The video URL that was linked to the Video Banner/Text ü Video position ü The date when it was initially scheduled ü Caption/Text ü Status a checkmark will indicate that the image/video has been posted ü Action this will give you an option to Edit, Delete, or Publish Now.
