As such, end users can search / access and retrieve / restore mail from archive to their mailbox prior to expiration of the message's retention period. This means the end-user can work with their accustomed client interface or the Web Access interface. Archived message have a stub inserted for the original message. This stub has the same visual appearance as the original entry except that "(Archived)" is appended to the subject line. To access an archived message, the user opens the stub as if it were the original message. This stub replaces most of the body of an , allowing full viewing of the header information, subject, date and portion of the body in the users current mail file. The user can access the archives message via an http link in the message stub. Once the user clicks on the link, Unlimited mailbox retrieves the message from archive and renders it in a web browser on the fly.
