Introduction This document provides the specific description of a subset of the DELFO D96.A message to be used between a Faurecia Company and its Trading Partners. This description is specifically destined to cover the requirements for the Faurecia Core System (FCS), when the procurement method is not the Levelled method. Typically the requirements mentioned in the message are obtained through a classic MP process. The Delivery Instruction message is a message from Faurecia to a Supplier giving details for both short and long term material requirements in line with the conditions set out in the purchase contract. This message may be used as shipping instruction, since the first part of the horizon is firm requirement, and also as planning forecast. The Delivery Instruction message is intended to: specify requirements based on delivery conditions. define the aspects that guarantee synchronisation between Faurecia and the Supplier. provide information allowing the Supplier to plan for future requirements, to purchase raw materials, to fabricate and plan the delivery of goods in line with the delivery instructions.
