5 1 About This Document 1.1 Objective This document describes how to use the source codes to generate software. 1.2 Application Scope 1.3 Overview This guide is applicable to sites that use vrealize Orchestrator Plugin, a Huawei-developed storage plug-in. As long as the same source codes are used, a software package generated at the deployment site is the same as that released with the version. 2

10 2 Constructing a Compilation Environment 2.3 Installing Apache Ant Step 1 Decompress apache-ant bin.zip to the current directory. Step 2 Step 3 In Windows, choose Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > System > Advanced System Settings. In the Advanced system that is displayed, click Environment Variables. In the window that is displayed, select Path from the system variable list, and add bin directory C:\vRO\apacheant-1.8.4\bin Step 4 Create environment variable ANT_HOME and set its value to the installation directory of Apache Ant (C:\vRO\apache-ant in this example). 7

17 3 Constructing Software 3.1 Obtaining Source Codes for the Software Obtain the source codes. If they are compressed in a file, decompress the file first. The directory structure of the decompressed file is shown as follows: 3.2 Compiling Source Codes Step 1 Copy the prepared compilation tools to directory third_party_groupware\vrealize- Orchestrator-Plugin-HuaweiStorage. Step 2 In Windows, click Start. In the Run search box, enter cmd and press Enter. In the cmd view, go to directory ci\script\vrealize-orchestrator-plugin-huaweistorage. 14
