4 Installation : Order of Modules JRules BRMS modules must be installed in specific order: Core(RS/RES) > RTS > DVS > Application Server Bundle Ex: Core > RTS > DVS > WAS Bundle Fix Pack must be installed on top of install version 7.1.1: Core > RTS > DVS 2. install version : Core > RTS > DVS 3. 5 Installation : Database Schema RTS Schema is generated based on Rule Extension Model SQL can be executed by RTS Installation Manager Alternatively forward SQL script to DBA for execution Reasons: restricted DB grants, RTS on DB2 requires a 32K buffer pool,... 11 Migration : Locale Prior to v7.1 locales could be 2 letters only (e.g. en ) Since v7.1 recommendation is to use 4 letters (e.g. en_us) To avoid conversion issues use 4 letters locale everywhere: Rule Studio: Make sure locale.properties is set to en_us (default) Vocabulary files should be en_us.voc (not _en.voc) RTS: Use SQL script to update locale (Tech Note) WebSphere Support Technical Exchange 11 of 34
