PRODUCT OVERVIEW The Touchsafe Pro Call Logger software allows the entire call history to be downloaded from the Nursecall system for detailed analysis of all events including call types and response times etc. Custom reports can be created by setting filters and changing date ranges, results can be displayed, printed and exported as PDF files in a variety of different graphical and list formats. The Push Notification feature allows certain system events to be sent to a mobile device. Note: the mobile device requires a Pushover App installed for this feature to operate. Full functionality is only available when used with Touchsafe Pro Panel software version V2.00A onwards. The Call Logger software allows multi site management from a single PC Workstation. ENTS 2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read and understand these instructions before use and keep for future reference. Do not disassemble, cut down or extend the interface cable. The PC will require Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10. The PC will require a USB Port. The PC will require an Ethernet Port. 3 3. CALL LOGGER KIT OPTIONS There are 2 different Touchsafe Pro Call Logger kits; the same software is included in each kit, it s only the type of interface cable that differs. Description Touchsafe Pro Call Logger Software inc Crossover Lead Touchsafe Pro Call Logger Software inc Patch Lead Part No. E50520 E50525 E50520 KIT This kit includes a 3 metre Cat5e Crossover Patch Lead for direct connection between the Touchsafe Pro Master Panel (ID 1) and a PC Workstation running the Call Logger software. Touchsafe Pro Master Panel PC Workstation E50525 KIT This kit includes a 3 metre Cat5e Patch Lead for connecting the Touchsafe Pro Master Panel (ID 1) to a PC Workstation running the Call Logger software via a Local Area Network (LAN). TOUCHSAFE PRO PANEL SETUP On the Touchsafe Pro Master Panel (ID1) Log in as an Engineer and select the Set IP Address option, the screen will look like this; An IP address must be setup when a PC running the Call Logger software is connected to the Ethernet Port of the Touchsafe Pro Panel. If Use DHCP is un checked, an IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway can be entered into the relevant fields. This information can be obtained from the PC being connected directly to the Panel or from your IT Administrator. Press the Set IP button to save the settings. Enter the Push Notification IP into the relevant field and Tick the Enable Push Notification check box. Press the Save button to save the settings. Press the Close button to exit. 5. HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS Before installing the Call Logger software please check your PC has the following; Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10. USB 2.0 Port Ethernet Port 256MB Free Memory 6. INSTALLING THE PC SOFTWARE The Call Logger software is supplied on a USB flash drive. Insert the flash drive into a USB Port on your PC. Double click on Setup.exe and follow the on screen instructions. An icon will be created on your Desktop. Setup.exe will automatically install.net Framework 4.0 if it is not already installed on your PC. Call Logger software will be installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\aidcall\touchsafepro Call Logger. FIRST APPLICATION RUN On the first run of the application you will have to Log in with the following credentials; User Name: Password: admin Click on Log in and the main screen should open as shown below; Click on the Settings tile (Gear Wheel) to open the User Settings page. On the User Settings page enter details for the new user making sure to allocate Administrator privileges. Note: the details are for Alerts only see section 10. This is the Account that s are sent from you may need to contact your IT Administrator to obtain this information. If Alerts are not required then these fields can be left blank. Click on Write to save the new user details. Close the User Settings page. On the main page click on the tile to Log out. Doc No. FM5590 issue B 1 Page 5
6 8. CREATING SITE DETAILS Log in using the credentials created in the previous step and open the Site Settings page. On the Site Settings page fill out the boxes with the relevant site details. Enter the Site IP Address to match the Touchsafe Pro panel. The Site Port Number is always Click on Write to save the new site details. Repeat as above to create multiple sites as required. Allocate the site(s) to the user by selecting the user from the Select User drop down, checking the site name(s) and clicking the Update button. Close the Site Settings page. 7 9. VIEW SITE DETAILS On the main screen click on the Refresh tile (2 Blue Arrows) and the site details will appear. Note: a Refresh also polls all sites for data Multiple Sites Where the Call Logger is set up for multiple sites these appear on the main screen and can be scrolled across using the left and right scroll buttons. Refer to the Touchsafe Pro Call Logger User Guide (Aidcall Doc No. FM5595) for details on how to download data from the Nursecall system and create reports. Doc No. FM5590 issue B 1 Page 7
8 10. ALERTS SETUP From the main screen click on the Settings tile (Gear Wheel) to open the User Settings page. On the User Settings page enter the new user and details for the Account that s are sent from. You may need to contact your IT Administrator to obtain this information. Click on Write to save the new user details. Click on Open Alerts Settings Page button and refer to the Call Logger User Guide (Aidcall Doc No. FM5595) for details on how to create Rules and Alerts. 9 11. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP To use the Push Notifications feature of the Call Logger a third party App called Pushover is used. A Pushover account must be created. TO CREATE A PUSHOVER ACCOUNT Open an internet browser and navigate to The website should look similar to figure 1. Figure 1: Pushover.net homepage 1) Click on the Login or Signup link as shown in figure 2 and create an account. Figure 2: Pushover.net Login or Signup 2) You will be sent a verification , please go to your and click the verification link. 3) Once you have verified your account and logged in you should see a screen similar to the one shown in figure 3. 10 11. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP Figure 3: Pushover.net account home screen 4) Please make a note of Your User Key by copy and pasting it into a text file. 5) Install the Pushover App on your device. Please note the App is free to try for 7 days, after that a license will need to be purchased. 6) Login on the App and your device should appear under Your Devices on the Pushover website. 7) To add the Touchsafe Pro Call Logger as an application click on the Register an Application link. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP Add the name of the Application (Touchsafe Pro Call Logger v1.03a) Set Type to Application Add a description of Touchsafe Pro Call Logger You do not need to add a URL You may add an icon that will appear in the Push Notification. Check the Terms and Conditions box then click the Create Application button, you will see a screen similar to the one in figure 5. Figure 5: Pushover.net New Application Screen 8) Please make a note of the application key by copy and pasting it into a text file. 9) Go back to your Account Home Screen and you should see the application in the Your Applications section. 12 11. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP SET UP A PUSH SERVER A Push Server is what creates and sends the Push Notification to a user s device. To create a Push Server use the following steps. 1) In the Push Details section of the Push Notifications page click on the Push Server tab; you should see controls similar to those shown in Figure 8. Figure 8: Push Server settings 2) The Push Server is the PC that is running the Call Logger. Enter a name for the Push Server. 3) Enter the IP address, this IP address must match the fixed IP address of the PC and the IP address entered into the Touchsafe Pro panel see Aidcall Doc No. FM5000 issue C. 4) Enter the Server Port number as ) Enter the Application Token that was generated when registering the Call Logger as an application on Pushover.net. 6) Click on the Write button to create the Push Server. 7) Once created the Push Server details can be modified or deleted. 8) The Push Server automatically runs when the Call Logger application starts. 13 11. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP SET UP A PUSH USER A Push User is the recipient of the push notification. To create a Push User use the following steps. Figure 9: Push User settings 1) Click on the Push User Details tab; you should see controls similar to those shown in Figure 9. 2) The Push User is the recipient of the Push Notification. Enter a user name. 3) Enter the Push User Token acquired when registering on Pushover.net. 4) Click on the Write button to create the Push User. 5) Once created the Push User details can be modified or deleted. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP SET UP PUSH DETAILS The Push Details are the settings that form the Push Notification itself, they are created by using the following steps. 1) Click on the Push Details tab; you should see controls similar to those shown in Figure 10. Figure 10: Push Details settings 2) Enter a name for the Push Notification. 3) Select the Touchsafe Pro site that the Push Notification will be triggered from. This site must already be created within the Call Logger. 4) Select the event that will trigger the Push Notification. Four different push events are available; 1. Bed To Be Cleaned triggered on a Bed to be Cleaned Event. 2. Tamper triggered on a tamper event. 3. Fault triggered on a fault event. 4. Power triggered on power related events including battery low events, this includes any Telecare devices. 5) Select the Push Sound that the Push Notification will make on the mobile device. 6) Select the Push Priority of the Push Notification. A high priority notification requires the user to acknowledge the notification on the mobile device. 7) Click on the Write button to create the Push Details. 8) Once created the Push Details can be modified or deleted. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP ENABLE A PUSH NOTIFICATION To enable a Push Notification a Push User needs to be paired with a set of push details. 1) Select the required push details from the Select Push drop down menu. 2) Select the user to receive the Push Notification from the Select Push User drop down menu. 3) To create the Push Notification click on the Create button. 4) To delete a Push Notification highlight the Push Name in the Live Push Notifications tree view and click on the Delete button. The Push Details and Push User will not be deleted. Doc No. FM5590 issue B 1 Page 15

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS SETUP SEND A TEST PUSH NOTIFICATION A Push Server and Push User can be tested by using the following steps. 1) To test the Push Server and Push User the Test Push Notification controls shown in Figure 11 can be used. 2) If a Push Server has been setup you will see the Push Server name in the corresponding text box. You should also see the application key appear below the Server Name. 3) Select the Push User from the drop down menu. You should see the user key appear below the user name. 4) Click on the Send Test Push Notification button and the push user s mobile device should receive a notification.
