1 RESTRUCTURING OF JSI & COMMUNITY S ELECTRONIC CATALOGS: The October DVD of electronic tools will launch the restructuring of JSI & Community s catalogs! In response to requests from the market, and to ensure clarity, we are bringing our JSI & Community products under the JSI manufacturing code. Category codes have also been modified so that they are grouped together and the flow is more conductive to work. PRIOR TO OCTOBER DVD: Manufacturing Codes OCTOBER DVD AND ON: Manufacturing Codes NOTE: When the October installs are loaded, it will add the new structure to the old. Make sure All Objects is checkmarked. Make sure Apply to valid Part Numbers is checkmarked. Before clicking Ok, note the number of objects selected. This should match the count of models that are updated. 7. Checkmark the Category (Cat) field. Type in the new category code in the corresponding text box. Verify that Assign only to selected items is unchecked. Verify that Assign to items within all levels is checked. Click Ok If models are coming from multiple catalogs, each model line must be changed individually:. Highlight the Category (Cat) field on a line Manually type over the existing category code with the new one. Repeat for additional lines.. Click update to Catalog. Ensure that Update items within all levels is checkmarked. Click Update and save the Worksheet
