3 I - PRESENTATION 1 - DESCRIPTION The OCI432 docking station is used to write to or read from the parameter stick AGU2.560 and AGU2.561 via the ACS432 software. The USB operator unit is used to establish the connection with the PC. 4 II - INSTALLATION! Switch off the electrical supply of the boiler before any intervention 1 - INSTALLATION 2 - USE General ACS432 is a convenient tool used to save and transfer data from and to an AGU via the OCI The ACS432 provides the following functions: - Formatting and deleting parameter data contained on the AGU Exporting parameter data and/or online DD from the PC to the AGU Exporting parameter data and/or online DD from the AGU to the PC - Locking and unlocking - Printing documentation Note : - AGU is not a USB memory stick. It only works in connection with LMS... or OCI The AGU must never be removed while writing data to it. If removed during the write process, all data saved on the AGU will be lost! System requirements - Type of processor: Minimum Pentium 4/Celeron, 1 GHz or similar - Basis: IBM or IBM-compatible - Operating system: Windows XP Service Pack MB free hard disk memory - Monitor: Minimum resolution 1280 x 1024, 256 colors - Main memory: Minimum 512 MB RAM - Input devices: Keyboard and mouse - Microsoft.NET Framework

5 2.3 - Scope of the ACS432 The ACS432 contains a source folder with the program and the configuration file Installing/deinstalling the ACS432 - Unpack folder ACS zip - Copy your customer-specific configuration file to target folder config (e.g. Demo_ cfg) To deinstall the ACS432, delete folder ACS Languages The ACS432 is available in English and German

6 2.6 - Starting the program Connect the OCI to a USB port of your PC. Plug an AGU into the respective port of the OCI Note : - AGU is not a USB memory stick. It only works in connection with LMS... or OCI Start the ACS432 by double-clicking on ACS432.exe Select your customer name (1) and read the AGU (2) - 6 -

7 If you use AGU for the first time, it is not formatted. In that case, you are asked to format it: Formatting means that your customer name is firmly assigned to the AGU AGU is now ready for use with the ACS

8 2.7 - Menu items - New AGU compilation of data sets is deleted and an empty AGU created. - Load AGU compilation of data sets A previously saved AGU compilation of data sets can be loaded. - Save AGU compilation of data sets An existing AGU compilation of data sets is saved. - Read data set An *.xml file is loaded to the current AGU compilation of data sets. - Write data set The selected data set is saved in *.xml format. - Print The current AGU compilation of data sets is printed out. The printout contains: the serial number, the product no. (ASN), general data, and, for every data set obtained, the storage space, the displayed name, the parameter version, the parameter set number, the parameter set group, the OEM boiler type number, the user level, the online DD - Close The program will be closed

9 - Read AGU is completely read and shown in the overview with header and all data sets saved on it. - Write The compilation of data sets as shown in the overview is transferred to AGU Format and write After a security query, the AGU is formatted and the compilation of data sets as shown in the overview is transferred to AGU Lock stick/unlock stick The compilation of data sets on the AGU is locked or unlocked. The display changes, depending on whether or not the AGU is locked. If required, the AGU can be protected by a password. The purpose of locking is to protect the compiled data sets and to prevent subsequent changes. Locking is not used as a protective measure prior to formatting an AGU Move data set up The selected data set is moved one storage position up. - Move data set down The selected data set is moved one position down. - Remove data set The selected data set is removed from the compilation. - Format AGU is reformatted

10 - Language English German - Information General information about software version is displayed. 11 2.8 - AGU After plugging in a formatted AGU , a total of 3 choices are available: 1. Load compilation of data sets. 2. Read data set. 3. Read the AGU In all 3 cases, a dialog window opens requesting you to select a file. Selection 1: Complete AGU compilation of data files is loaded. Selection 2: An individual data set is loaded. Selection 3: AGU is completely read and shown in the overview with header and all data sets saved on it. This compilation of data sets can also be write protected (see Lock stick), preventing the heating engineer/customer service from making changes to the compilation on site

12 Once the compilation of data sets on the AGU is made, the compilation can be saved by clicking 4 and written to the AGU2.56 by clicking 5 or 6. If required, 6 can also be used to format the AGU If the compilation on the AGU has not been saved, 5 asks you to do so before writing to the AGU Before the write process is started, another dialog window appears, asking you to create a backup of the data sets. This shall prevent important data sets from being overwritten

13 The progress bar in the bottom part of the ACS432 window shows the write process. In addition, the LED on the OCI flashes as long as writing is in progress. When the write process is successfully completed, the progress bar disappears and the LED on the OCI is permanently lit green. Now, AGU can be removed

14 2.9 - AGU After plugging in and reading an AGU2.561 that has been formatted and written, 2 choices are available: 1. Save AGU compilation of data sets. 2. Save data set. In both cases, a dialog window opens, asking you to assign a file name. Selection 1: A complete AGU compilation of data sets is saved. Selection 2: The selected data set is saved
