3 Introduction Performance Logic s DSRIP Tracker is a project management tool to assist in the management of Medicaid 1115 waiver projects. Using the DSRIP Tracker, the following can be monitored: Milestone status Financial incentive payments Performance measure progress Other functionalities and benefits of the DSRIP Tracker include: Managing issues Utilizing project schedules Creating meeting agendas and minutes Uploading documents to a document repository Creating monthly project status reports on current milestone and metric progress Generating DSRIP project progress reports from a portfolio perspective This user guide will provide new users with the initial steps required to use the tool. Once familiar with these initial steps, new users will be able to update progress and status for projects. Please visit the User Guide section of the tool for more detailed support documents. 2

4 Performance Logic Login Login URL Each organization has a unique URL through which to access projects. This URL is provided by the DSRIP Performing Provider System (PPS) project manager or program coordinator. Open a web browser and type in the URL to access the Performance Logic DSRIP Tracker. Username and Passwords By default, usernames will be the user s first and last name, separated by a period. For example: John Smith would be john.smith Passwords are initially set as the Username. Once logged into the system, access the User Profile section on the Main page to change your password. Log in with Tip 1: To navigate the site, click on items on the top ribbon, the side menu, or the footer. 3

5 Main Page Click the Main button in the navigation bar to access the main page. Tip 2: Blue font indicates links to areas described in the titles. Tip 3: Navigation is completed by a single click on your mouse. Project Manager Access and view individual projects and project specifications. Project Archive Access and view previously archived projects. Utility Functionality and report area are accessible only by Department Administrators. Library Access and view methodologies, focus areas, articles, and glossaries. Support Access , phone number, training on demand, user guides, release notes, and FAQs. User Profile View and update personal contact and employment information. Account Manager User manager area accessible only by Department Administrators. 4

6 Access Support The Support page offers many resources to help you navigate and use the site effectively. Tip 4: Do not use the back button to navigate the site. Using the back button could: Log you out of the tool Log you out of your project. Tip 5: Your work does not need to be saved. Updates you make are saved automatically on a real time basis. 5

8 Access Support: Frequently Asked Questions The extensive FAQ list provides quick answers to the most frequently asked questions in regard to using the tool. Logging In How do I log in? What if I forgot my password? Installing the Project Manager Plug In After I logged in, why did I get a plug-in error message? Project Manager: Reading and Writing to Projects Why can't I see someone else's project? I reassigned myself the team role of Project Sponsor on my project and now I canot add any data. What is wrong? I added my administraive assistant into my project team but they cannot see the project. Why? What is the difference between adding a participant and a nonuser to my project? Project Manager: Locked Screens Why does the screen have a colored background an appear to be locked so that I cannot do anything on the screen? Why does every screen in the project have a light blue background so I cannot modify anything? Project Manger: Display Issues Why is part of the screen image cut off? Why are the colors on my screen not right? Why have buttons and scroll bars disappeared from screens that usually have them? How can I adjust column witdths? 9 Access Support: User Guides User guides provide tailored support for individual sites and require Adobe Acrobat Reader to be viewed. Project Manager Guide General User Guide of the PL PPM module. Account Manager Guide Instruction on how to add users to the tool through the Account Manager. Access to this area will be determined by the privilege that has been assigned to you on your User profile. Account Privileges Guide Explains the permissions granted to different privilege designations at both the Account Manager and Project Levels. MS Project Import Guide Instruction on how to import your MS Project work plans into PL. Project Planning Guide Brief overview of using the Project Schedule within the PL PPM module for project planning. 8

10 Project Manager The Project Manager section includes project folders through which individual projects could be accessed. Click Project Manager to to view view projects projects assigned assigned to you. to Project Manager: Project List Click the + in the yellow folder icon to expand the folder(s) and access individual projects. 9

11 Project Manager: My Status Projects can also be accessed from the My Status tab. My Status provides an update on your current assignments: The window panes make up a personal dashboard of projects, issues, and tasks assigned to you within a project. To set this as the first page accessed upon login, update your User Profile from the Main Page. 10

12 Project Manager: Open a Project To access a project s details, click on the project name on the Project List or My Status tab. To locate a project not in the project list, contact your PPS project manager or program coordinator. Tip 7: Only people added to individual project teams (and Administrators) can view those projects. 11
