3 MediGate Sales presentation 3 1.Introduction DICOM 3.0 as Standard form for communication of Medical image have been used for now. Every image from medical instrument is saved as form of BMP, JPEG, TIFF and reserved in their server. MediGate1.0 is built for transforming acquired image from variety of form to proper type to satisfy International medical image standard. Obedience to standard protocol Film Digitizer1.0 is focused on standard compatibility with modality. For its stable performance with variety of modalities, it interfaces by using standard protocol such as DICOM, TWAIN, and also directly control VIDAR film Digitizer. Convenience of user It is meant to be built for the best convenience. By simple operation, user can scan films and transfer, for storage and back-up, it provide local data base. These functions will be significant for maintaining program. Supports for Variety image format It supports common form such as BMP, JPEG and also 8bit, 12bitas well. It can open amend information, and transfer file abided by DICOM 3.0.

MedGate IV is built for transforming acquired image from variety of form to proper type to satisfy International medical image standard. 2.1 MediGate Installation Double click DexcoMultySetupAllin.exe from CD or file. Path : CD-ROM (DVD) -> MediGate folder If you don t have CD-ROM., copy to the USB Memory stick. and using a USB memory stick step for Installation of Selected Program Check Dentigate Setup and Rex2-Premium Driver Setup. Click Install button.

12 Setup for the scan Double-click the Medigate icon installed on the desktop to run it. Setup the Rex2-Premium. And restart Medigate program. 1 2 Select the Rex2-Premium

14 Start to the scan Double-click the Medigate icon installed on the desktop to run it. After selecting all the options, click the "Scan" button or press F2 button in keyboard. and then, sensor is ready. You can used the sensor. If you want to cancel. Doubleclick the Press the X-ray [shot] buttom window.

15 Open Files It perform to open saved file formed as BMP, JPEG, TIFF, DICOM. Click Open and chose file formats and open the select file Save Files it is function of Save present image as DICOM file Chose folder and name the file, click the Save then it is automatically saved with number.

16 Close close all the images and patient s information and ready for new patient image and information DICOM Worklist Using DICOM Worklist reduce error when user input information by typing. DICOM Worklist is abided by DICOM 3.0 and networking with worklist Server Save to Local Database It is function of save present image in local database as DICOM file InsExam Image can be saved by shooting as test items which was saved as SaveDB. Open the appropriate image FindDB. After shooting in live mode, click Select All And then, additional images are stored by pressing InsExam.

17 17 In order to see saved image and patient information, click Find DB then as follow the picture, the image is shown on the Local Database screen DICOM Send MediGate application program performs function of DICOM Storage SCU. By using Saved exam and patient information in acquired image, it creates DICOM file, and transfer to DICOM Storage SCP by network About setting related DICOM Send, user can setting in the Option --> Worklist/Sending.

18 Dicom Multisend MediGate application program performs function of DICOM Storage SCU. By using Saved exam and patient information in acquired image, it creates DICOM file, and transfer to DICOM Storage SCP by network About setting related DICOM Send, user can setting in the Option --> Worklist/Sending Option It provides setting for basic interface, network, and Film Digitizer, such as setting for worklist/sending and Scanner Exit Exit the program.

19 Inverse This function performs inverse color of selected image in case black and white image, it change black to white and white to black FlipV By this function user can reverse selected image right and left.

20 FlipH By this function user can reverse selected image up and down Rotate By this function, User can rotate selected image 90, 180, 270 clockwise or counterclockwise

21 Cut & Paste It is used when user wants to change the order of image. By using Cut & Paste, as changed order it creates image as DICOM file. Work order Select image that user want to change the order and click Cut. in order to paste `cut image, select certain image and click paste then cut image will be pasted behind selected image Delete It is used in order to delete image. It actually delete image, once deleted image can not be restored Pointer After the tasks associated with the image when you switch to native mode is used. Zoom, Magnify, Pan used to change the default mode after selection Magnify it is used when you zoom in on specific parts of the image. If you use the Shift key, the Magnifier window can be significantly expanded. If you use the Ctrl key, you can adjust the magnification.

22 Zoom After the tasks associated with the image, when you switch to native mode, it is used. and also after selecting Zoom, Magnify, Pan, it is used to change the default mode after selection.

23 Pan The ability to move the image when the magnified image is so big that the image can not be displayed Realsize Enlarge the selected image to the actual pixel size.

24 Fit Enlarge or reduce image according to the specific application window size Reset The function used to revert the image to its initial state Scan image(medigate Scanner) "Scan Image" button is that the sensor is ready.

25 Viewer Viewer is opens the user-specified BMP, JPEG, DICOM files, and images acquired from devices such as scanners and is responsible for displaying images to the users in order to view. it can also support the Windowing to control the brightness of a picture Viewer Control If number of image are more than selected Layout, it shows another page. 26 Layout Change In order to change of layout of Row x Col Viewer, click layout change. Figure 2: Layout Settings screen Select All, Unselect All This function is if user wants to select or unselect all images shown the screen Change Page First Page move to first page. Previous Page Move to Previous Page From current page. current number of page/total number of page Next Page go to Next Page from current page. Last Page Move to the last page

27 Mouse Operation Layout Auto Changing If user double -click left, layout is changed1 x 1 that shows one picture on whole screen. User can change back to previous layout by double-click Modify Windowing In order to change Window Height, and level, move mouse While pushing right mouse button. (except, if that is color image, windowing is not supported.) Height Center Center Height

28 Local Database It provides search inquiry and select exam and image information saved in local Database by certain condition. If user double-click a certain exam, and it is shown on preview Search Conditions It provides search conditions in order to find saved information in Local Database. Figure 1 : Viewer Toolbar

29 Local Database Research Result by using certain research condition(patient ID, Name) in local Database, result is shown. Figure 1 : Viewer Toolbar Open After selecting a particular search result, if you select the "Open button, then find the appropriate test image on the path, recorded in the Local Database, and display it Delete After select certain result, if click delete then, that exam and related images all are deleted from Local DateBase Send After selecting a particular search result, if you choose "Send" button, then Dicom Send is to be executed to those checks MultiSend After selecting a particular search result, if you choose "Send" button, then Dicom Send is to be executed to those checks for many.

30 3-5 DICOM Modality Worklist 30 Worklist DICOM Modality Worklist performs search, and recall from worklist server. After fill out the search condition, and click worklist search Condition it recalls prescription information from Worklist server and indicates result window. If user selects certain prescription, exam and patient information on Toolbar is automatically filled out Search Conditions It provides search conditions in order to search prescription from Worklist Server. 31 Option Setting It provides all the MediGate setting for basic interface, Worklist/Sending, Scanner, and Dicom Information Default Temporary directory Setting User can choose direction for temporary directory of Scanning Image. Click Folder, User can choose direction. For delete, click Clean DICOM Save Directory Setting In case of usage of Save DB, Send function, it is setting for directory of saving DICOM. Click Folder for user preference.

32 DICOM Modality It is for setting of adding Modalities in MediGate Application Program. (Using /,many basic Modalities can be registered.) Default layout Image : It can specify the default layout of the image. FindDB: Click FindDB and imaging open. It can specify the layout Loading option Flip : Filp horizontally or vertically scanned image. Rotate : The scanned image to the left, right, left 180, right 180 Rotate Show Image Tools on Application Started At the beginning of the program shows the tool window

34 DICOM Initialization DICOM Setting Information DICOM Setting Information Hospital ID : to provide ID for each hospital.(it is option for sales Company.) Hospital Name : designate hospital name Modality Serial No : if there are more than one Medigate Application Program, it can provide No. for each unit. (ex: 1, 2, 3...) Save hospital name to DICOM information : store hospital name in a DICOM file. Show Overlay Annotation/Text (Dicom Information) : Basic Information will appear.
