The contents of this information can also be found on the CD-ROM supplied with the product. The information about the available releases should help with the decision of whether to implement an available update or not. Introduction This technical document describes the release history of the Pepperl+Fuchs DTM Collection 7.xx which is used for the comm units listed below. Version is the latest version of the Pepperl+Fuchs DTM Collection Remote I/O system LB-FB (last change: 01/2011 ) DTM Support of PACTware 4.0 Diagnostic Scan AddIn (with support of HART diagnostic with Pactware 4.1) Change of the setup: EULA implemented again, change of the default options Improved redundancy handling with application redundancy (communication follows the comm unit activity) Commisioning support for EasyCom (8X06) Comm units 8x06, which are not locked by a Profibus master, can be parameterised with the use of the dtm. During the startup of the cyclic communication the station will be blocked for further parameterisation with the dtm and the GSE-based parameters are overtaken. With Easycom, firmware 9.x is accepted Type Conversion of LB: non Ex to Ex-i and visa versa (e.g ) FB: Ex-I to Ex-e and visa versa (e.g ) (the parameters of the modules remain unchanged) new type of backplane for FB system FB92xxBP10 with 10 i/o slots FB92xxBP20 with 20 i/o slots new power supplies LB9006 C and FB9206 D (24 VDC) Change of the internal power calculation for FB9215 now all i/o modules are only charging the internal 12 VDC. power supply redundancy can be activeated in non-redundant stations dependent of the used backplane type firmware dependent enhancement of UniCom mode (8X09, ProfibusID 0x1710) available: Universal module with 8 Word Input and 8 Word Output per slot (necessary for future i/o enhancements, GSE Version 1.09 or higher MODBUS parameter baudrate and parity have been only stored for primary comm unit. Now the same parameter was also used for secondary (MODBUS redundancy) LB4X02: The internal HART scan can now be deactivated. During normal operation the channel data are only validated due to the changing of process channels (e.g. add or remove of modules).
