1 BusOps First Time Login Open Internet Explorer by going to Start > All Programs > Internet Explorer and clicking once Go to Tools (Alt+X) and select About Internet Explorer In about popup, verify version shown is 10 or higher. Close the popup (Contact your administrator if your version of Internet explorer is less then version 10) In the URL field, type and press Enter key Save BusOps login page for future reference by either adding it to your favorites, saving it to your desktop as a link, or making it your home page. Login to BusOps by using your single sign on (SSO) credentials (Type only your username and ) Once logged in, verify your name appears on top right side of the screen (Next to logout link) Once logged in, select various screens and reports to verify you have proper access (Contact your supervisor if you don t see a screen/report or can t perform needed function) To log out, select Logout link in top right corner (Below LAUSD logo) 1

2 ABS Rundown Report File path: Dispatch > ABS Rundown Navigate to Dispatch > ABS Run Down Input valid dates in START DATE and END DATE fields (You can have up to a week s range at a time) Enter route range other then your own in ABS BEGINNING ROUTE and ABS ENDING ROUTE Click RUN button to generate report. Verify you see error message advising you don t have access. (ABSs can only access their own route range) Input your own route range in ABS BEGINNING ROUTE and ABS ENDING ROUTE and click OK in the confirmation popup. Click on ABS Run Down link to display generated report Use report s save option to save it as a PDF

3 Dispatch > AIM/FAIM Absenteeism Input Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password Click Dispatch and select AIM/FAIM Absenteeism Input from menu bar Enter search parameters (i.e., EMPLOYEE NO, ROUTE NUMBER, BEGIN/END DATE), if applicable Click Search button to display records in data grid NOTE: Below buttons availability is based on user role permissions +Add new record to add/create new absenteeism record in popup window Edit to update absenteeism record in popup window Delete to delete absenteeism record. View to display read only absenteeism record in popup window

4 Dispatch > RBE Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password Click Dispatch and select RBE Route Bus Employee from menu bar Enter ROUTE or BUS or EMPLOYEE NO Click Search

5 Dispatch > TRPT Trips Report Menu Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password Click Dispatch and select TRPT Trips Report Menu from menu bar Enter search parameters (ABS NO, Receiver Order #, BEGIN/END DATE, APPLICATION NO, DOCUMENT NO, SCHOOL, or Trip Types), if applicable Click Search to display trips in data grip Click +Add new record to add/create trip(s) Click on column title to sort records in ascending/descending/default order Enter partial or full filtering data in the text box to filter records accordingly. Hover trip status icon to show trip status (e.g. cancelled, historical, trip web id, etc.) 8. Click A No to display and edit trip data affecting one trip 9. Click D No to display and edit trip data affecting all the trips under the same document number 10. Click Book or R xxxx button to edit/update trip booking module in popup window

6 TRIPS Booking to Bus 8 File path: Dispatch > Trips > Book Column Navigate to Dispatch > TRPT Trips Report Menu and search for the trip needs to be booked Click on Book link under Book column (next to trip s Document number) screen automatically looks up and displays all available buses that trip can be booked on Select GARAGE Modify trip s capacity in CAPACITY, if applicable Click Search to display all available buses In grid on the right, select (double click) desired bus number in BUS # column, or In Assign Bus field, type in desired bus number from the right grid Click Trip Assign button Click OK in the confirmation popup to exit trip booking screen

7 TRIPS Booking to Route 8 9 File path: Dispatch > Trips > Book column Navigate to Dispatch > TRPT Trips Report Menu and search for the trip needs to be booked Click on Book link under Book column (next to trip s Document number). Screen automatically looks up and displays all available routes for trip Modify S-Zone Loc to a different location (or delete value in field), if applicable. Modify Start Time and End time, if applicable. (Note: Any route that starts its pm run at pm will not be considered for any trip that returns after pm) Modify trip Capacity value. (Note: Any route whose capacity is less then trips capacity will not be considered qualified) Click Search to display all available routes. In grid on the left, select (double click) desired route number (use the navigation buttons to go through entire list), or 8. In Assign Route field type in desired route value from the grid 9. Click Trip Assign to assign route to trip 10. Click OK in the confirmation popup

8 Union Overtime Update Report 8 File path: Dispatch > Union Overtime Update > Union Overtime. 8. Navigate to Dispatch > Union Overtime Update In Reports section, click Union Overtime link. Verify it takes you to Union Overtime Update Report Input desired search parameters in various search parameters Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are modified) Use Column Sorting options (Up/down triangles next to column headers) to rearrange report by different columns Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer

9 D Daily Dispatch 1 8 File path: Dispatch > Reports > D Daily Dispatch. 8. Navigate to Dispatch > Reports > D Daily Dispatch Select desired date in Start Date Select desired date in End Date Optional: Select an ABS from the ABS dropdown Optional: Select range of routes Click View Report to generate the report (To view the report in proper layout, it s best to convert it into PDF since report generates only 1 record per page and uses different layout than a traditional excel style report) Click on PRINT icon to print report Click on SAVE icon to save report as PDF

Navigate to report by going to Dispatch > Reports > D Mountain Qualified Driver Input desired values in various search parameters Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are changed) Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer NOTE: Begin Date: Begin Date Unavailable End Date: End Date Unavailable

Navigate to report by going to Dispatch > Reports > D District Route Special Input desired search parameters Click View Report button to see the report Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns Use Page Navigation option to move through all pages of report Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer

12 Employee Absence Report File path: Dispatch > Reports > Employee Absence Report Navigate to report by going to Dispatch > Reports > Employee Absence Report Verify CURRENT DATE search parameter has default date of today and report loads automatically Add desired search parameters (Without modifying date value) Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are changed) Select any Employee No from Employee Column, navigate to Absenteeism screen and search for same record. Verify Report s values match with data in Absenteeism screen. Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns 8. Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report 9. Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file 10. Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer

Click Dispatch > Reports > T1 Trips Report from menu bar Enter search parameters (i.e., Start Date, End, Date, ABS, Booking Code, Begin Route No, End Route No, etc.), if applicable Click View Report button to display records in report Click up/down arrow in report column header to sort (ascending, descending, default) by the column of choice. Hover over column header to show column tips, if available. Click arrow icon to display next or previous page Click the disk icon to export report to PDF or Excel format Click refresh icon to refresh report records Click printer icon to send report to printer

15 TIA Trips Inquiry by ABS Number File path: Dispatch > Reports > TIA Trips Inquiry by ABS Number Navigate to report by going to Dispatch > Reports > TIA - Trips Inquiry by ABS Number Input desired ABS number in ABS NO field (field is required and searches for 1 ABS at a time Input any single date in TRIP DATE search parameter. Date can be either future or Past Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are changed) Navigate to Route Detail screen, search for same ABS number as typed in step and verify screen shows as many route numbers as displayed in report Navigate to TRIP screen, search for same ABS and verify each trip assignment is same between report and screen. Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns 8. Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report 9. Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file 10. Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer

16 Driver > DCAP DBR Monthly Cap 1 File path: Driver > DCAP DBR Monthly Cap Navigate to screen by going to Driver > DCAP DBR Monthly Cap Click Search button to see screen s data. Verify search grid shows every year s data In YEAR field, type current year s value and click search again. Verify grid only shows data for year searched In MONTH column filter, type in current month and click Enter. Verify only 1 record shows. Click on VIEW button (Next to year column) to pull up record in detail mode Click RESET. Verify screen is now empty

17 DQ18 Future Absenteeism 1 8 File path: Dispatch > Reports > TIA Trips Inquiry by ABS Number. 8. Navigate to report by going to Driver > Reports > DQ18 Future Absenteeism Input 1st of next month in BEGIN DATE and month s last day in END DATE search parameters Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are changed) Select some of the absence data, navigate to AIM/FAIM screen, search for selected absence records and verify screen data matches with report Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer

18 Contractor Absence 1 8 File path: Dispatch > Reports > TIA Trips Inquiry by ABS Number. 8. Navigate to report by going to Driver > Reports > Contractor Absence Input today s date in both BEGIN DATE and END DATE search parameters Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are changed) Select first absence record, navigate to AIM/FAIM screen and search for selected record. Verify screen data matches with report Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer

19 Fleet > Bus - Search Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password Searching for bus in BusOps Click Fleet and select Bus from menu bar Enter search parameters, if applicable Click Search to display bus records in the data grid Optional Clicking column heading to sort by ascending, descending, default order of the column Entering full or partial data in the text box for filtering data records to be displayed

20 Fleet > Bus Maintenance Schedule - Search Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password Searching for bus maintenance schedule in BusOps Click Fleet Click Bus Maintenance Schedule Click Search Optional Searching by entering BUS NO, GARAGE LOCATION, FROM DATE, and TO DATE Clicking column heading to sort by ascending, descending, default order of the column Entering full or partial data in the text box for filtering data records to be displayed

21 Incident > Delayed Routes Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password NOTE: To add delayed routes, go to Incident > Incident Maintenance and click Xclone of the incident record. Click Incident > Delayed Routes from menu bar Enter search parameters (i.e., DELAYS FROM/TO, BOARD/CONTRACTOR, MINIMUM DELAY minutes, ROUTES FROM/TO, REGION), if applicable Click Search button to display records in data grid Click the page number or left/right arrow icons to go to desired page of records. User can change the data grid page size by clicking and selecting desired page size. Shows number of items and number of pages in current search result Depending on user role permissions, View/Edit/Delete button will be available accordingly. Only the delayed routes (not the incident route) can be deleted, if Delete button is available.

22 Incident > Incident Maintenance Login to TSD BUSOPS Click the link to access BUSOPS using SSO userid/password 8. Click Incident > Incident Maintenance from menu bar Enter search parameters (i.e., REPORT NUMBER, ROUTE NUMBER, INCIDENT BEGIN/END DATE, EMPLOYEE NO, BUS NUMBER), if applicable Click Search button to display records in data grid Click +Add new record button to add incident record in Incident Details popup window Click right arrow icon to show Incident Investigation records. Click +Add new record button to add new incident investigation record, Edit to modify, or Delete to delete. Click right arrow icon again to retract Incident Investigation grid. Click Edit to modify the incident record in popup window Click XClone to create delayed routes record Click Notify to display Incident Notification in popup window for entering notification data and sending notifications to various stake holders by /fax

23 Incident > Incident Maintenance > Notify 1 File path: Dispatch > Reports > TIA Trips Inquiry by ABS Number Navigate to Incident > Incident Maintenance > and click Search Select any incident record and click on its NOTIFY option. If notifications need to be sent to black board, checkmark Black-Board option Mark the names of any agencies that were contacted in top of the page. Also input date/time they were contacted Verify route s RTM, ABS and AABS s s along with Dir/Deputy Dir s are auto populated in middle section of the screen. Select desired REPORT TYPE and NOTIFICATION TYPE for RTM/ABS/AABS In OTHER NOTIFICATION RECIPIENTS section, click on +Add New Record Select any school code notification should go to, fill out rest of the required fields and click ADD link Click UPDATE link to send notification to blackboard and any selected personnel in middle section (Screen should close and user should be back to the main Incident screen. Click on NOTIFY again after minutes. Verify any faxes/blackboard have appropriate messages advising if notifications were successful or not

24 Liquidated Damage Summary File path: Incident > Reports > Liquidated Damage Summary Navigate to report by going to Incident > Reports > Liquidated Damage Summary Input desired values in various search parameters Click View Report button to see the report (button should be clicked every time search parameters are changed) Select any Report No from the report, Navigate to Incident Maintenance screen and search for same Report No. Verify Report s Route No, Contract No, Report No, Date/Time of accident, and Incident Type values match with data in Incident Maintenance Screen Make a note of that incident s Contract No value. Navigate to Route > Contractor screen and search for same contract. Verify contract s PARKING LOCATION value matches with report s PARKING LOC column 8. Use Column Sorting options (up/down triangles) to sort report by different columns 9. Use PAGE NAVIGATION option to move through all pages of report 10. Use SAVE icon to save report as either PDF or Excel file 1 Use PRINT icon to print report to a local or network printer
