1 MyStreamBox Plug and Play and Navigating your New System Open Packaging and find: MyStreamBox Power source- Your power cord that runs from the back of the streambox into a power socket HDMI cable- This is the cable that connects from the back of the Streambox into the HDMI outlet located on the back of your tv. Remote Control- Takes 2 AAA batteries. Be aware that the remote control needs to be pointed directly at the Streambox to perform all functions optimally. Also included is your Mini-Keyboard- To pair the mini keyboard with your Streambox, turn your keyboard over and slide the battery casing off the back. Inside the battery compartment, you will notice a small metal shiny usb connector. Pop it out of the casing and replace the battery casing on the back. Now take the usb connector and insert it into the right hand side of the Streambox (you will notice there are 2 ports that it will fit into, it doesn t matter which port you choose). When you turn on your mini keyboard, it should now communicate wirelessly with your streambox.

2 After all connections are properly made, you will need 2 remote controls. 1)the remote control for the MyStreamBox and 2)the remote control for your TV. Go ahead and Power on both the TV and the Mystreambox. If you don t immediately see the MyStreambox start up screen, you will need to take your TV remote control and press the input or source button on the remote control- Find the HDMI input that you plugged the streambox into on the back of the TV and press ok. You should now see the MyStreamBox home screen on your TV screen. On your MyStreambox remote control familiarize yourself with the big OK button in the middle of the remote and the 4 directional arrows around the perimeter of the OK button. This is what you will use to navigate around screens and channel menus. Also notice the small HOME button just up and to the left of the OK button- Pressing the home button will always take you back to your home screen. As well, notice the small RETURN button just up and to the right of the OK button (parallel to the HOME button) Pressing the return button will always take you back to the last screen that you were on. First Things First: Connect your Streambox to your internet: Using your remote, press the down arrow and you should see the white box outline that will highlight the big orange KODI or MyStreamBox box on the left hand side of the screen.

3 Now using your directional arrows on the remote control, navigate that white box over until it is highlighting the SETTINGS box in the bottom right hand corner and press the OK button. If you are connecting to your internet wirelessly, the wi-fi should already be highlighted so just go ahead and press OK. It will ask you to input your password- at this point, it is easiest to use your mini keyboard to type in your password. Once you type in your password, press enter and it will sync up your wireless network to the Streambox. If you are connecting to your internet through a hardwire, go ahead and run a cable from your internet modem into the back of your Streambox and under the word ETHERNET, it should read connected. After you have synced up your internet, press your HOME button to take you back to your home screen. Keyboard (Back light) SET-UP: To initiate Back lighting on you mini keyboard, press blue Fn button (bottom left) and F6 button (top middle) at the same time. This should enable the Mini Keyboard light up mode. You are Now Ready To Begin Navigating Around Your StreamBox: Highlight the big orange box labeled on the left hand side of your screen labeled MyStreamBox or KODI and press OK :

4 It will open a screen on which a bar will appear with different categories such as WEATHER, VIDEOS, MUSIC, PROGRAMS, etc. To access all your TV and movie watching, highlight the VIDEOS and press the down arrow. Some of the most popular apps for tv and movies are preloaded on the bar below VIDEOS but you can also find many more apps by clicking on the ADD-ONS tab in the sub menu below VIDEOS. To get more apps and install them, click Get More once in this menu. Same goes for MUSIC and PROGRAMS (the other Go-To s ). Only install the add-ons you know you will use as although there is a lot of space available, the more add-ons unnecessarily installed can create more freezing or system crashes/reboots. Refer to the App Guide also included with your package for a description of what each of the Apps provides. IN PROGRAMS IMPORTANT: Unless you are an advanced user, be careful of which add-ons you use in this section of MyStreamBox as they may erase or override existing settings that are proven to be the best/most reliable MyStreamBox programming for our customers. This section is not needed for entertainment, however FaceBook Media and Parental Controls are in this section (and likely the only add-ons recommended to access). Always IGNORE and DISMISS any CommunityBuild Updates as they will reduce capabilities. For delays and overly lengthy working prior to advancing to stream, you may have an internet connection

5 issue. Always make sure an internet connection is established by clicking on the settings page on homepage (outside of MyStreamBox). If connected, check speedtest.net from any other device in your home. This should tell you if you need to reboot your modem or contact your internet provider, assuming your download or upload speeds are low. Average upload with most carriers is 10-50mps average Upload speed is 5mps. Change List - View Options: Press arrow (left) on remote until it reaches left side of screen side menu will appear out from the left side of the screen, entitled View Options. Click OK button on remote to change view options from List, Big List, Thumbnail, Poster Wrap, Fanart, Media info, Media Info 2, etc. When seeking Live PPV events, we suggest Streamlive.to and to select Live Sports East Coast (2 nd option), then change list view to Media Info, allowing a clearer view of real time events others are paying a lofty premium for.
