The voyager electronic adjustable spacing pipette expands anywhere from 4.5mm to 32.5mm to accommodate a wide variety of micro plates, tube racks and gel boxes. 5 VIAFLO Pipette User Interface All VIAFLO pipettes can be programmed by selecting from predefined modes or by creating custom multi-step programs that can be stored in memory. Predefined Programming Allows user to define parameters for each step, including volume, speed, pace, etc. Custom Programming Allows user to create complex pipetting protocols quickly and easily. Pipette Modes Pipette Repeat Dispense Sample Dilute Pipet/Mix Manual Pipet Reverse Pipet Variable Dispense Sample Dilute/Mix Serial Dilute Custom The electronic control of the piston results in improved accuracy and precision in comparison to manual pipettes. All VIAFLO pipettes function as repeaters. Select the dispense volume and desired number of dispenses. Either press RUN to activate each dispense or hold down the RUN button for a timed dispense. Repeat Dispense mode greatly reduces motion related injuries and required pipetting time. Aspirate two precise volumes divided by a defined air gap using one pipette tip. Achieve a more homogeneous sample by flushing the sample with the diluent. Using one pipette tip also reduces costs and saves time. Press the RUN button one time and mix as many as thirty times. Automatically aspirate and dispense mixing and suspension of cells. The number and speed of mix cycles can be adjusted to achieve optimal results. Only aspirate and dispense while the RUN button is being held down. Unlike a manual pipette, both volume and speed values can be set. Manual Pipette mode can also be used to measure unknown volumes. Recommended for use with viscous and high vapor pressure liquids to improve accuracy and precision results. This is achieved by maintaining a liquid column that equilibrates the air temperature. Aspirate once and dispense multiple differing volumes. Variable Dispense mode eliminates the need to adjust volumes between each dispense.
