The use of a special combination shield (PiMF + braided shield with 65% covering) and 360 shielded RJ45 plugs provides maximum data transmission reliability. The patented method for simple assignment of the plugs to each other significantly increases operating reliability, which makes accidentally pulling apart the patch cables virtually impossible. Both RJ45 housings are optically excited and light up following contact of a patch cable end with the detector. Service mapping may also be effected at a later point in time via the application of color coding. An RFID chip can also be added for automatic network detection.
