2 OVERVIEW STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 Log in KUVO website Register Your profile Post DJ mix Preparation for posting DJ Mix video or audio you upload on YouTube or Mixcloud * Pioneer DJ account (If don t have yet, you can register from the login page.) * For rekordbox dj (Ver. 5.3 or later) users With the recording function of rekordbox dj, you can easily upload your DJ Mix to YouTube / Mixcloud and post the DJ mix to KUVO. Please see the rekordbox operating instruction for further details. Note: This guide is written for users who use computers to upload and post your DJ mix. You can post your DJ Mix with KUVO App on smartphones, but some functions may not be used such as linkage to rekordbox.

For Pioneer DJ account user Log in with your address and password, or with social media account. STEP 2 For non-pioneer DJ user Click [Register for free.] and proceed to register an account. After receiving an , complete with Confirm address button. After that, open the above page again, log in here. * If you forgot your password, please reset your password from [Forgot password?].

4 STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 STEP 2: Register your profile Register your profile on KUVO. After logging in, a menu will be shown on the left side. Click [Edit My Profile] and fill out your profile and information. User Name and My Area are required. Finally, update your profile to click [Save] button. Note: Please check if [My profile can be viewed by others] is selected for your Privacy Settings. If not, select it and click [Save Privacy Setting]. STEP 3

5 STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 STEP 3: Post DJ mix Post your DJ mix into KUVO. Click [+Post DJ Mix] button and Login in with your YouTube or Mixcloud account. After logging in, your contents list will be shown here. Select a DJ mix which you want to post into KUVO and click [Post] button.

6 The screen for setting details of the DJ mix will be shown. Fill out each item here. Input your information on this page as correctly as possible for effective promotion. This will make users easier to find your mix and follow you.

7 How to set the playlist This section explains how to set the playlist easily Live Playlist For users i) who played at KUVO clubs where KUVO box (NXS-GW) is installed, or ii) who played with rekordbox dj (Ver 5.2 or later) (*1) Select your playlist from the drop-down menu and click [Import] button. Track title and time stamp, etc. will be automatically set. (*1) rekordbox dj (Ver 5.2 or later) You can download it and buy a license at rekordbox.com. Use [KUVO Live Playlist] function. For details, see [APPENDIX] at the last page. 2 rekordbox Playlist (*txt) For users who played with rekordbox (Ver 3.0 or later). You can easily set the track information (except time stamps) by importing histories data stored in your rekordbox.

8 Procedure 1) Make a text file (.txt) from histories of rekordbox Select the history data from [Histories] in the Tree view of rekordbox, and Click [Export a playlist to a file] and [Export a playlist to a file for KUVO (.txt)] and save a text file in your computer. Procedure 2) Import a text file to KUVO Click [Import] button and set the text file saved at the procedure 1. And the track information will be set automatically. 3 How to set a time stump of a track You can easily set a time stamp by clicking [Set Timestamp] button at the starting point of a track while playing of the DJ mix. When you finished entering all data, click [Save] button. Your DJ mix has been posted at this point. You can edit the information at [My Mixes] menu.

Check your DJ mix after posting. You can check the DJ mix you posted at the screen below. Click your name and select [DJ Mix/Playlist]. The list of DJ mix you posted to KUVO will be shown.

APPENDIX How to use [KUVO Live Playlist] function on rekordbox dj With rekordbox dj (Ver 5.2 or later), you can share your playlist in real time to KUVO.

10 APPENDIX How to use [KUVO Live Playlist] function on rekordbox dj With rekordbox dj (Ver 5.2 or later), you can share your playlist in real time to KUVO. In combination with recording function of rekordbox, you can easily create playlists of your DJ mix. (refer to STEP 3) *You ll need a rekordbox dj license to use Live Playlist. *DJ mix recorded with rekordbox needs to be uploaded on Mixcloud or YouTube. <Procedure for Live Playlist> 1. Select [PERFORMANCE] mode and check [REC] panel. 2. Click [KUVO] button in [REC] panel. 3. Tick [Start/Stop recording linked with Live Playlist] and click [START] button. Start recording and sharing playlist. (*Untick if you don t need recording.) 4. After finished your DJ performance, click [STOP]. 5. Upload the recorded audio data on Mixcloud or YouTube. STEP3
