3 BEFORE YOU START TOP You should fully charge your Fidelis recorder before first use. Remove USB cap and plug into your computer USB port. Please make sure that your computer does not go to sleep during the charging. Please charge for about 4 hrs for a full charge SD card SD card slot SD CARD: If you did not buy an SD card from us please insert your own. This unit will not respond to all directions in the manual if there is no SD card to begin with. This unit can take up to 16GB SD card. VIDEO RECORDING Before starting, PLEASE ensure SD card is inserted in properly and ALL THE WAY! (see previous page) VIDEO:To record video begin by turning unit on.

It may be faint! ON/OFF VIDEO RECORD Now quickly press and release the VIDEO botton. button again. The LED light (blue light) will blink slowly. You are now in video recording mode.

4 VIDEO RECORDING Before starting, PLEASE ensure SD card is inserted in properly and ALL THE WAY! (see previous page) VIDEO:To record video begin by turning unit on. Firmly press and hold the VIDEO button. The status light will turn red and remain a steady red. This is STANDBY MODE. Please note that you may have to cup your hand over the status light to see it. It may be faint! ON/OFF VIDEO RECORD Now quickly press and release the VIDEO botton. button again. The LED light (blue light) will blink slowly. You are now in video recording mode. note that the light is hard to see so be sure to look carefully. STOP VIDEO: To stop video recording quickly press and release same VIDEO button. The status light will return to a steady RED. You have now stopped video recording and back in STANDBY MODE. Repeat as necessary. NOTE: Each time you start and stop recording a new file is created. Status Light UPRIGHT recording position IMPORTANT: To make sure you are recording video UPRIGHT (and not UPSIDE DOWN), hold or lay down your recorder such that the STATUS LIGHT is on top. This will allow your videos to be up right and not upside down when playing back! Page 4

5 AUDIO ONLY RECORDING Before starting, PLEASE ensure SD card is inserted in properly and ALL THE WAY! (see previous page) AUDIO:To record audio begin by turning unit on. Firmly press and hold the VIDEO button. The status light will turn red and remain a steady red. This is STANDBY MODE. Please note that you may have to cup your hand over the status light to see it. It may be faint! AUDIO RECORD Now quickly press and release the REC botton. The LED light will change from a steady RED to a steady BLUE. You are now recording AUDIO ONLY! STOP AUDIO: To stop audio recording quickly press and release REC button. The status light will return to a steady RED. You have now stopped audio recording and back to STANDBY MODE. Repeat as necessary. NOTE: Each time you start and stop recording a new file is created. Page 5

PLAYBACK You can listen to your recordings with the included by connecting your Fidelis recorder to your computer USB port. Once plugged in, an AUTOPLAY window will show up.
