How are new access rights assigned at access points? Via the network, in real time. What happens with door events and alarms? All events are forwarded in real time to the access system. Which applications are typical for an online connection? The access points are not wired The connection between the access system and door component is established via the ID card How are new access rights assigned at access points? Users are assigned rights to their ID cards at update readers (online) The update readers are centrally located e.g. at personnel entrances, near elevators or in canteens The status of the CardLink components (battery status and booking memory) and access events can be written onto the user ID card. On the next booking at an online reader, events are automatically forwarded to the access system. No door monitoring No door event and alarm feedback Which applications are typical for a CardLink connection? Non-wired doors should be seamlessly integrated into the online access control Doors to offices, laboratories, archives or general entrances that are not heavily frequented and do not require door monitoring Doors where a radio link is not possible or economically viable What are the benefits of a CardLink connection?
