Housing Hemel Hempstead is a sizeable town with a resident population of 85,000. 9 Train services Hemel Hempstead Hemel Hempstead rail station is located approximately 2.75 miles (4km) away. It is accessed by a regular bus services and is well served by mainline trains between London Euston and Birmingham New Street. There are 5 trains in the AM peak hours and 5 trains in the evening peak. Trains to and from Hemel Hempstead serve central and north London, Watford, Berkhamsted, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Coventry and Birmingham. Hemel Hempstead is 25 minutes from London Euston, 29 minutes from Milton Keynes and 112 minutes from Birmingham. Train services St Albans St Albans rail station is located approximately 7 miles (11.5km) from the development. St Albans rail station is well served by mainline trains between Bedford, Luton and London Kings Cross St Pancras (Brighton). There is also a peak hour service between Luton and Moorgate. There are 7 trains in the AM peak hour and 6 trains in the evening peak. St Albans is 15 minutes from Luton, 23 minutes from London Kings Cross, 40 minutes from Moorgate and 32 minutes from Bedford. Bus Services There are 17 buses per hour serving the development in the AM peak period with 13 buses in the PM peak. Between these peaks, there are typically 13 buses per hour. These services provide routes between the development and the town centre, residential areas within Hemel Hempstead, nearby main centres (including London) and the bus and rail stations.
