4 Four performance classes System solutions made to measure We put on our customers glasses... When developing our automation solutions we consistently put on our customers glasses. This perspective gave rise to the adaption of our system portfolio into the four machine building performance classes: Compact, Standard, Universal and Performance. The Compact class is aimed at compact machines in the lower price segment without any cutting back on the performance level required. The Standard class covers the performance range of medium-sized standard machines, whereas the Universal class with its modular device structure is designed for medium to large OEM machines. The Performance class offers open hardware and software platforms for high-end automation solutions up to the field of motion control. 6 Innovative visualization solutions with integrable PLC Innovative visualization solutions in four performance classes We invest 20 percent of the company turnover in the ongoing improvement of existing products and the new development of innovative solutions. We have therefore integrated new solutions in the Standard and Universal class of the xsystemv. The xsystemv is also expanded in the Compact and Performance class. The XV100 with a full graphic 3.5 TFT touch display and a 400MHz RISC platform rounds off the system line in the Compact class. 8 XV100 The smallest touch control in the world The Compact class: Maximum performance in compact design The XV100 is a compact touch HMI device with a full graphic 3.5 TFT display. Featuring an Ethernet interface as well as a Profibus or CANopen fieldbus interface, it is an ideal replacement for text-based operator panels. Like all xsystemv visualization devices, it can therefore be configured easily as a conventional HMI with the Galileo visualization software. It can also be programmed as a PLC in accordance with IEC61131 using the CoDeSys-based MXpro programming system. This produces an attractive price/ performance ratio for probably the smallest HMI-PLC in the world. It can be combined very well with the XI/ON ECO gateways on the I/O level. Especially in combination with the ECO Ethernet gateway, multifunctional ECO I/O modules and Ethernet as a fieldbus, it produces a state-of-the-art and ultracompact automation solution that replaces previous hardware PLC configurations simply and economically. 10 XV400 / XVS400 Close the gap in 8.4 with performance Close the gap with optimum performance and power The new XV (8.4, infra-red touch) is guaranteed not just a gap filler between 5.7 and 10.4 xsystemv units. This 8.4 panel offers optimal performance and convincing power. Based on the operating system Windows CE and together with the visualization software Galileo the panel distinguishes itself through high flexibility and multiple communication capability. A brilliant display with 64k colours and a resolution of 640x480 pixel provides a big picture in a small space. The XV has not only been developed for demanding HMI tasks but also recommends itself also as a powerful display control thanks to the optional PLC functionality. 14 XV400 Protection class IP69K with stainless steel front IP69K Protected against the ingress of water with highpressure and steam The XV with stainless steel front is designed for areas where highpressure cleaners are used such as in the food industry. 20 XV700 Powerful, communicative, flexible The Performance class: Powerful visualization, control and motion The XV700 stands out for its excellent performance in five display sizes, as well as a box version for remote applications. For maximum fail safety it comes without any moving parts and two Compact Flash cards for storing the embedded operating system, as well as program or process data. At least ten onboard interfaces for networks, peripheral devices and fieldbuses turn the device into a communication genius and allows perfect integration in the xsystem portfolio. 24 ECO: CANopen / Profibus / Ethernet XI/ON ECO gateways compact automation XI/ON ECO gateways you can count with these. Creating modular I/O nodes with the XI/ON ECO concept is particularly attractive. As a new member of the xsystemn line, an ECO bus coupler with Ethernet as a fieldbus terminal is now available in addition to the ECO bus couplers for CAN and Profibus. Particularly with the XV100 HMI device from the xsystemv range, this allows the creation of cost-effective automation solutions in pocket book format. Like all ECO gateways, the Ethernet gateway has the proven diagnostics interface that allows commissioning without the need for a PLC. The bus address is set in the usual way directly on the gateway via the DIL switches. Push-in terminals ensure fast and therefore optimum wiring. In this way an excellent price/performance ratio can be achieved. 26 Multifunction modules XNE-4AO-U/I and XNE-8AI-U/I-4PT/NI Cost-optimized automation with multifunction modules XI/ON ECO I/O modules provide space saving and cost-optimized automation. New analogue multifunction modules are also available in addition to the previous digital modules. As an analogue input module, the XNE-8AI-U/I-4PT/NI provides connections for 8 analogue value transmitters. Two analogue channels each can be combined also to form a PT input with 2 or 3-wire connections. This provides up to eight measuring inputs for voltage or current, and a total of four channels for 2-wire or 3-wire PT measuring.
